Advice on hotel needing 3 beds

Where did you see this? In the US? I am 54 years old and have never seen this. 2 full beds or 2 queen beds has always been the norm. If the 2 twin beds were not bunked a room with 1 larger bed and 2 twin beds would have to be huge, 2 twin beds together take up as much space as a kind sized bed.

Older than you and I've never seen either. Maybe in another country, where bed configurations are often different.

It reminded me when I was booking DH and DD for Tokyo Disneyland, Hilton had some crazy rooms full of beds.

I SO WISH we had these here as we are all adult family now.

When we were in Dublin last year we had a 'family room'. It contained 3 double beds and they were huge, not the American definition of a double bed - these beds were larger than American queens. It was great for us.

I think many places (non-US) twin refers to a bed for one, and double refers to a bed for two; which technically can be a full, queen or king.

With your party of 4 adults, I would book 2 rooms. That way, everyone has a roomy bed, and you get an extra bathroom.

You can request a rollaway bed at the Swan or Dolphin. At the Swan I paid $25 per night and at the Dolphin they didn't charge me for it. I do believe that their Family Suites come with two queens and a sofa bed. For us the rollaway has always been cheaper than the suite. You can also get a promotion online to book an adjoining room with a discount. Although two rooms at a value resort is probably the cheapest way to do two rooms.

My boys are much younger and they don't sleep well together in the same bed! I've always had luck at the BC, YC, BW to request a room with the daybed or sleeper sofa and have always been able to get one (sometimes you have to wait longer for your room to be ready). If you stay at the Poly or C I believe they all have the daybed. I don't know if the daybed is long enough for a 20 yr old though. The other option is the Family Suites - that has three beds and two bathrooms. My boys loved the Cars Suites.
