Advice on gatwick hotels..

Did you get a hotel?

We got the Travelodge for £33 for the night. The next morning we'll just drive to long stay south and park up. Much cheaper!

It is too early for me to book yet but I keep looking at different options. I change my mind each week on where to stay .

Yesterday I looked and I decided on the premier inn south with breakfast for 4 and parking at the official gatwick car park £120. I will probably change my mind next week though :hyper:

It seems to be cheaper to book everything separately.

Changing your mind is all part of the fun!

Oh I forgot to say that when I got that price I was looking for this Nov, just to get an idea. But as soon as it will let me book that far in advance then I will. Something else off the list :thumbsup2

I will have a look at doing it separately.

Just reporting back, Bloc Hotel was great, really convenient. Reception is on the same level as the Restaurants, not far from Giraffe. Beds really comfortable, rooms quite small (as they advertise). Quick & easy check in & self check out via an iPad in the room, which also controls lights, temperature.

Bath room was a wet room, which personally I don't particularly like. Also bed Only has access from one side which isn't a prob for us, DH never gets up in the night, but may put some off.

We are going to book again for our next trip, My Gatwick has a 10% off voucher.

The rooms look small, even with a window room, did they feel small?

We did end up in a room with a window, yes small but didn't feel claustrophobic, we had a meal and sat and watched telly for an hour or so (you have to sit on Bed) so wasn't in room awake for long enough for it to bother us, if you get what I mean .

I stayed at bloc last year it was clean and cheap don't know if they have family rooms as I was by myself.

Yes,they have family rooms, bunk beds for kids up to 15. Dad slept in one, she's 20 but only 5'3", long enough for her, looked standRd single size but not 100% sure.
