Hi. We are visiting EPCOT on Monday June 29th.
A few questions....We want to try the Skyliner, so we are thinking about taking the shuttle to HWS and taking the Skyliner to EPCOT. How long is the ride from HWS to EPCOT?
Also, we are attempting to do "Drinking around the world". We are two couples (in our 40's) with 6 total kids. Any advice? What drinks to try? Can it be done in a day without getting "wasted" lol? What "mocktails" are good for kids? I'm thinking about breaking the drinking with rides, so I'm planning on using the ferryboat between Germany and Mexico to minimize walking. What is the schedule of the ferryboats and how long is that ride?
Thank you all for the advice.

1. I can't help you with the skyliner because we have never taken it from Hollywood Studios to Epcot, we always just walk
2. The boat in Epcot runs from Canada to Morocco
3. If you will get wasted depends on you. We drank around the world just last week. We were a group of four (kids were older and on their own) In some countries we split a drink between two of us and in some we got our own, but we also split our drinking up from 11 am to 9 pm. In between we had lunch, dinner and did some rides.
4. We had:
China-Kung Fu Punch, it was ok, very refreshing
Norway-Troll Kreme frozen slush, just ok
Mexico-Dragones Top Shelf Margarita. Delicious
Canada-Maple Popcorn Shake with Whiskey. Also delicious (the beer flight that my husband had was good as well)
UK-Gin and Tonic, refreshing and not beer, so that's what I wanted :)
France-Grand Marnier Slush always delicious
Japan-Sparkling citrus sake, just ok
Morocco- Beer, meh
US- Frozen Mint Julep It was very good (I wish that I had gotten the moonshine one in retrospect because people are raving about it) I also tried the frozen red stag lemonade that a friend had and found it very sweet
Italy- Prosecco, delicious. My husband had a peach prosecco and it was really good too
Germany- Sparkling Wine, very good

5. Mocktails, I have no advice, other than I know there were some. I know that the Maple Popcorn shake in Canada had a non-alcoholic version

Thanks for the feedback. I'll put some of those drinks on our list.

We did the Drink Around the World a few Christmas's ago and split it up. Out intention was a beer at each location. However, in Mexico we started with a margarita and in Japan we did some hot sake. We came up 2 countries short (France and England) because we tried to fit it all in after dinner and ran out of time...and motivation! LOL!

Super helpful! Taking DD and friend for her 21st- we will spend her 21st birthday at Epcot- drinking around the world. Planning on a full day to spread it out! Several meals planned too. Your list sounds amazing! Really appreciate you sharing.

There are so many specialty non alcoholic drinks available, your kids should be great.

Ferryboats are short and sweet and running regularly. Great way to rest your feet for a bit. I'm thinking they come every 15 minutes?

I wouldn't be able to drink my way around the world without falling down. :drinking:I also never find a drink I want to try everywhere, so I REALLY can't make it!

I'm not exactly sure how long the Skyliner trip is from HS to Epcot, maybe 20 min total, but you do have to transfer at the CBR station as they are 2 separate lines. I'm not sure how you plan to get back to your hotel, but note that the Skyliner won't be running to HS when Epcot at 10 since HS will have closed at 8.

We got shirts and everything, it was fun, but definitely an experience I don't need to replicate lol
