This is our first time to WDW and we are trying to make all our plans well ahead of time.

We are thinking of trying to get ps seating for the last day of our stay which would be on October 8th. I have a few questions.

First, I have heard conflicting times when to call. One source said exactly 60 days and one said 90 which is correct?

Secondly, how do the seatings work? Since it is the last day and we would like to get the latest possible. We are staying the BCV and are wondering how that will work with checkout.

Third, are we taking a big risk in hoping to get a reservation on the last day because if we don't we'll be stuck with no reservation?

Thanks.....Mike

If you really want to get CRT, I would try every single day of your trip - if you get the last day, just cancel any others you might pick up. I wouldn't throw all my eggs in one basket if you really want to go.

You need to do is exactly 90 days out, as soon as they open (7am). You may not get a choice on times, but instead just ask what they have available and jump on the first that sounds good. If you're working on your last day, just ask for the latest possible that is open and let them tell you.

You don't need to checkout at the desk or anything if you prepaid and everything is paid on a card. You can call and have bell services come get your bags and store them until you leave as well.

Hope that helps!

I agree, don't wait for the last day. Try everyday and you can always cancel when you get the date you prefer. That way you are covered. If you read the thread on Cindy's Breakfast Advice you will know exactly what to do. Start calling @ 6:58am EST and if you hear the we are closed recording hang up and hit redial. If you hear thank you for calling....stay on hold. Good luck.

Also don't give up. I got CRT twice for this past January (cancelling the first one after I got the day I really wanted). It was my first trip and I thought 'what was the big deal, this was easy'.

Well I'm taking my son and D-I-L back in Sept and my 90 days were up this past Sunday. I tried twice this last week to get CRT calling at exactly 6:55am Floridian time and didn't get it either time. Instead after I was on hold for about 20 minutes, I got the message 'if you are still on hold for CRT breakfast or lunch, they are probably booked up at this time'. Anyway on Monday about mid-morning I decided to just go ahead and make the rest of our PS and when I came to Wed 09/21/05 which is when I really had wanted CRT, I said "I know this is a long shot, but by chance do you have CRT available for anytime during that week?" The CM laughed and I said "I know it books up really fast and that my 90 days are up, but could you please check?" In just a moment she started laughing and said "I don't believe this, someone must have just cancelled and put this back in the system, but I can give you CRT at 9:35am on 09/24/05". That is the day we are leaving WDW, so I immediately said yes and booked it. I was totally shockd, as was the CM that I got it at 89 days out. The CM said that somebody probably booked it the day before and when they got it again the next day for the day they really wanted they just cancelled the first one and I called in at just the right time, as it was dumped back into the system. Anyway if you don't get it, keep calling back as people cancel all the time. In fact I may have to cancel ours as my son and D-I-L both want to leave early that morning to come home. They're thinking about it. :confused3
