Im flying to Orlando on the 30th November, getting married at the yacht club on the 5th December and fly home on the 18th December.

I was thinking about booking the 3 night Disney wonder cruise on the sunday 14th December? then going back to disney for 1 night at the GF ( We get this night free from Disney weddings)

Is it worth doing the 3 night cruise? i just thought it would give us a few days to ourselves and ive always fancied doing a disney cruise but some people on the cruiseline forum say its not worth bothering?? :confused3

Also my parents want to book this for us as our wedding present. Can they book it on their credit card? or would it have to be booked on mine?

I think it would be nice to get a "taste" by doing the 3 night cruise :)

If you love it you can always do a 7 nighter another time!

What a lovely wedding present it would be a great way to unwinded after the wedding and everything,

we are planning on doing a 3 day cruise this Oct for the first time ( but looking at the price of Hotels in New York just might have to cancel , decided a stop over there would be a great idea so booked the flights then started to look for some where to stay :rotfl2: )

Check out the TA on this board for quotes and I can't see any problem with your Mum and Dads Credit card
I have always paid for other peoples flights with my card

The 14th is a Thursday

We are having a beach wedding in Florida in November and then going on a 3 night Disney cruise a couple of days after. We just wanted to something a bit different, and although the whole Florida trip is a honeymoon, it does give us and DD some time to ourselves in a completely different environment.

The 3 night fitted in better with our dates, plus cruising has never been overly appealing to me, so I thought 3 nights would be a good taster. The 4 night doesn't go anywhere else, you just get an extra day at sea, and the next step up is the 7 night.

I think it's a great idea, you really should do it - as Miffy says, it might just whet your appetite to take a longer cruise in the future.

If you book on the DCL website, you can pay online - the full balance isn't due until 75 days out, and you can pay with a credit card.

If you're seriously thinking about it, book now, pay the deposit and you can cancel anywhere up to 75 days out for a full refund. The prices tend to rise as the date gets closer, plus you can choose your own stateroom and so you'll have less choice as time goes by.

Good luck - hope you decide to do it!
