Advice needed please! I need to add DS to reservation

We have rented a DVC at the BWV for DH & myself. We rented a room at the Pop for the adult kids. Now only one is coming, s we’d like to add him to our room. Since we have rented through an agency I need advice on how to approach this as I know they need to make the change. Is there a cost to do make this change imposed by Disney? The unit sleeps 5 so we are well within the allowed occupancy. TIA

It should simply be an issue of adding the additional name to the reservation via the owner (through the agency). DVC room charges (point costs) do not vary based on number in room. The points needed with three in a room are exactly the same as the points needed with one (or two) in the room. Most important is that, whatever name is added to the room via DVC, you thereafter put the same exact name in your MyDisneyExperience account for the reservation as a Family and Friend, e.g., if "Cynthia" (first name) is added to the DVC reservation do not make it ""Cindy" in your MDE account.

Thanks so much! MDE always been a bit of a pain since DH is a 2nd & DS is a 3rd. Since they just show first & last names, I was forever clicking the wrong one. I finally gave Dad Mr incredible icon and son Dash!

I know the rental agency I rented my points through mentions that I am required to adjust names for spelling and such.

I think adding a guest should not be a huge deal as it can be done online quickly. Good luck!
