So yesterday a truck came here to pick up our donations to a thrift store. Big white truck backs into our driveway that is shared with neighbors. I DO NOT SEE THEM PULL IN.
I had my 2 yr old plus was watching a 5 and 1 yr old in my house at the time.
Truck comes and goes and then about 4 hours later after extra kids leave, I leave to take my kids to the pool. No one else pulls into the drive way all day. (my dad dropped my DD8 off, but didnt pull in). As we are driving to the pool, I notice the car sounds loud. Get to pool, hear thunder, turn around and come home.
Tonight, I get in car after being home all day and car sounds loud so I say something to my dad when we get to his house. He looks at the back and we notice the muffler is hanging and there is damage to the back corner of the bumper right in line with the muffler the damage also shows white paint on top of our blue car.
So car was fine before truck comes, and next time we go to drive it, damaged. I used to work for the nonprofit company that owns the thrift store so I know where the parking lot is. Tonight my sister and I go by to see if the bumper on the trucks are white. They are but the trucks are behind a fence so we can not see if any are damaged.
Add now to this that it does hit me that not too long before the guys ring the bell yesterday, me and the 5 yr old hear a noise almost as if something fell but I think nothing of it until now.
Your thoughts??? I plan to call tomorrow to speak to the company.
