Hello, I need some help planning an upcoming trip. This will be our second trip as a family, we went last May and because of the disboards had a fantastic trip. We took things at a moderate pace as I was 6 months pregnant and e only stayed 4 days.

This trip we will be staying 10 days. It will be DH and I plus our 3 daughters, 6, 3 1/2 and 13 months at time of trip.

I feel like I did a good job last time but things were so quick I didn't have to plan too much. With this many days I wanted to see what you all thought. Should we take a few resort days? should we do waterparks? MNSSHP?

ANY tips or adivce that would pertain, even if it's something small, please share!!

thank you!

Well you will need breaks. Sept is very very hot and very humid. We did a park in the morning then broke for lunch at CS and then went back to the pool to cool off. After that it was back to the parks and a TS dinner. With as many days as you will be there, I would make time for down non-park days

This is our second trip with the kids; we were there last August. This year we're staying at the Poly for 7 nights, not 6, on the 4/3 deal with the DDP. Where are you staying?

For us, both waterparks and MNSSHP would be an unnecessary expense. We found more than enough to occupy and entertain us at the 4 main parks and the resort. We did use parkhoppers though-- I thought they were a great idea. And they came in incredibly handy, both when a sudden monsoon washed out our AK day and when we made it up late in the week, then hopped to Epcot for dinner.

Are you on the meal plan? The 5 of you can eat for $100 per day-- and get in a lot of character meals for the money. I loved the meal plan and am happy we can swing it again this year.

My girls in particular loved getting autographs. I got cheap autograph books at www.laughingplacestore.com and they had a blast. My 6 year old in particular insisted on waiting in line for Handy Manny's autograph and treasures it.

My girls also got a huge kick out of wearing princess costumes to our dinner with Cinderella and the Stepfamily at 1900 Park Fare. My youngest wore hers the rest of the night at the Magic Kingdom and loved the extra attention it brought. I've already gotten relatively cheap costumes for them to bring this year.

At some point, be sure you ride in the 1st car of the monorail; you just have to pick an uncrowded time and ask. But it is limited to 4 people, so last year I rode in another car and my husband and the 3 kids had a blast. (That's OK, I'm a big girl. I LOVED the fact that they were having so much fun!)

I placed a grocery order with www.gardengrocer.com We got bottled water and muchies for the parks, as well as milk and some breakfast stuff.

We are taking our 3 dd's, inlaws, brother in law Sept. for 10 nights. Our girls are so excited as they've always wanted to go to MNSSHP. On our previous trips we've rented boats, min. golf, walked on the Boardwalk(the kids loved it) spent time at FW and rented bikes. I know people love the park hoppers, but we've never had the need for them. We really enjoy our time relaxing at the resort, which a longer visit allows. Our "middle" daughter still talks about releasing ladybugs at WL. It wasnt a big deal, but it really impressed her!! Have a great time.

When in Sept. Are you going? We are going down the 6th thru the 12th.

We love MNSSHP so we are doing that again. We won't be dressing up this time in actual costumes due to the heat but we are wearing matching Halloween t shirts

We see the waterparks as unnecessary as all the resorts have pools. Not to mention they will be very packed because of the heat.

September is very hot and humid still so try take breaks. Go see an indoor show and drink water!!!!
Do some character meals if you are on the dining plan. We are doing Chef Mickey's(first time) and Crystal Palace(my youngest son has a thing for Pooh)
And don't forget the little playground everywhere!
