Advice needed Epcot to DHS

I know they take you to two different parts of Epcot...but is the bus trip from DHS normally shorter than the boat?

I think it can be,it all depends on how long you have to wait for a bus.The bus from DHS to Epcot can be a very attractive offer in certain cases. For example if it's 95 degrees out and you know you don't want to walk and as you get to the boat dock you see a boat leaving,in that situation a nice cold bus to the front of Epcot is what I might do.

The road-time for the bus, once boarded and underway, is about 11-14 minutes.

Remember that Epcot's bus terminals are still a bit of a walk from Epcot's front gates.

So, We would like to hit EMH at DHS and then head over to our breakfast at Cape May at 10:30 and then back to DHS. From looking at these posts it looks like our best bet is bus from resort to DHS, boat from DHS to Cape May and then boat back.

Does that sound about right?:confused3
Thanks!

P.S. about how long is the boat ride from DHS to Cape May and how often do the boats run?
Thanks again!

So,

1- We would like to hit EMH at DHS and then head over to our breakfast at Cape May at 10:30 and then back to DHS.

From looking at these posts it looks like our best bet is

2- bus from resort to DHS,

3- boat from DHS to Cape May

4- and then boat back.

Thanks!

P.S.

5- about how long is the boat ride from DHS to Cape May and

6- how often do the boats run?
Thanks again!

1- Easy to do.

2- Be at your resort bus stop 45-60 minutes before EMH is scheduled to begin.
(I don't know where you're staying.)

3- Be at the DHS boat dock by 9:45-10:00AM.

4- No time constraints, there.

5- Once boarded and underway, 16-20 minutes.
But, you need to figure the worst-case wait-time and boarding.

6- Approx. every 15-25 minutes.

Monday, May 7 we have ADRs at Epcot for Les Chefs de France and are planning on staying for Illuminations. There are EMH at DHS that night so we are going to hop over there afterward. Would you exit the main entraince and take the bus to DHS or go out the IG and take a boat?

We were there in January and they had buses running between parks when there was EMH hours at night. I think one night there was EMH at Epcot and there was a bus running between HS and Epcot :)

But it would probably be faster and nicer to catch the boat

1- To be clear, they operate buses between Epcot and DHS (both ways) every day of the year, all day long.

2- The boat is not faster than the bus, but the boat would generally be more convenient if you were headed to or from most Epcot World Showcase locations.
