We'll be driving in from the Airport Hyatt Saturday morning. My wife and daughters have a 10:30 am appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The plan is for my sons and I to begin checking in at BCV and purchasing park tickets while the gals have their morning out.

We have reservations at CRT at MK at 2:30, so we thought we'd meet up outside the park.

1) Is there any problem with me buying tickets for all six of us, even if we're not all there?

2) For a 7 or 8 day parkhopper, is there any good reason NOT to buy it at the front desk at BCV?

You can get tickets cheaper using places like AAA or undercovertourist.com. While the savings is not a lot, it is something.

If you subscribe to mousesavers.com's newsletter, you can get an even bigger discount on the tickets at undercovertourist since the newsletter has a link in it. It comes around the 15th of every month.

Have fun!

It's true that the discount at undercovertourists.com isn't huge (and I--or many others here on the DIS, I"m sure--would be happy to forward you a copy of the last mousesavers newsletter if you want to use their link for an add'l small discount...I do not know how it works on "short notice," tho--when I used it, I ordered the parkhoppers I needed a month in advance and they just mailed them to me...but the website should be able to tell you if there is a pick-up option)...

WHile the discount(s) seem small (and they are) on a per ticket basis, for six tickets it will add up to a noticeable amount of money...as I recall, when I bought 4 10-day park hoppers for a March trip, the per ticket savings amounted to $40 or $50...

If you can do a pick-up, usually you can do it at one of the guest relations locations at the parks or in Downtown Disney...it's worth looking into...

Have a great trip!

There is a $17 savings using the Undercovertourist.com link in the Mousesavers newsletter. That is on an adult, 8 day parkhopper. There is an office in Orlando where tickets can be picked up. It is at the UPS Store on 4630 S Kirkman Rd, near Universal.
You can PM me if you want more info.

When comparing prices, remember Undercovertourist prices includes tax and shipping. Prices listed on Disney Web sites do not. They add taxes during the checkout process.

I also found out that the local Walmart has slightly discounted tickets. (I think we saved $30 instead of the UT $50 on our total small order, but I did not attempt to order early enough for mail delivery and the UPS store was closed on our arrival date, Sunday...
