Want to go at the end of march 2005 need some tips and advice

will probably stay at all stars, do they have ap discounts

if buying aps when do they start? when you buy or when you use them? is it better to buy them ahead of time or when you get there? I would really appreciate any advice

TIA

Have you checked your calendar? The last Friday in March is Good Friday next year. Crowds will probably be huge. Room rates will be high and availability low.

If you have any options, another time would be better.

JMHO.

I'm going at the end of March too...I know it's near Easter, but my boys bithday is the day before Easter, and we are going to Hoop Dee Doo, to celebrate. I also know everyone says it will be busy, but the Northern schools have no "spring vacation" attached to the Easter Holiday like they do when Easter is in April. So I am hoping for a little break in the crowds, but if not, then we will be working the strageties. I would start researching historical information on pricing for hotels on Mousesavers.com. I am not sure about an AP discount at Easter time, you could always book now and cancel-when the codes come out if you can get an AP or AAA rate.

Last Feb/March Disney Visa offered Kids stay/play for free. We were also lucky to get United Airfare for $99 each way(booked it Christmas Eve). If you are flexible I would recommend going the week before Easter, if it must be toward the end. But Swilshire is right it will be crowded. If at all possible the beginning of March (10-17) was great this past year. Go to the librabry and get a couple of books, see which parks open early on which days. Plan to go back to the hotel for a long swim. Sometimes you can get lucky and hit rides while Wishes are on, or right after.

You can book some PS now (Hoop Dee Doo) but you need to mark dates for other PS Character meals. I also booked a couple of special resturants ahead of time at the 60 day window. You can also do this(PS) at the Hotel as well.

The Dis boards are a wonderful resource for planning your trip.
Good Luck.
