We have decided to do another cruise in Sept of 2017. We are cruising in Sept of 2016. I am looking for advice/ experience in booking. Would you book now and lock in a price? Or should I wait on and book onboard for the discount and onboard credits?

We would like to book a veranda room again.

Any advice or past experience would be helpful.

It's best to go ahead and book it now. Then reshop it once onboard. Remember, the discount will be taken on the prevailing price at the time you do your onboard booking. If the prices haven't risen enough to negate the savings with the onboard booking discount, you can cancel & rebook onboard. Otherwise, you're locked into the current (probably lower) price.
