My husband and I are planning a trip for our two year wedding anniversary
Hopefully we will be there from September 14-21st. (still waiting on Disney World to release the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
) We went around the same time for our Honeymoon and loved how slow the parks were this time of year.
So far this is the itinerary:
Monday the 15th:
Start the day at Hollywood Studios and ride our favorite rides then park hop over to Epcot and ride some rides and do the drinking around the world challenge.
Tuesday the 16th:
Get to the park at 4pm for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Ride as many rides as we can then enjoy the parade and characters meet.
Wednesday the 17th:
Free day
Thursday the 18th:
Go to Universal Studios, start the day at the new Diagon Alley
, ride all the rides and then take the Hogwarts express over to Islands of Adventure and ride all of the rides there.
Friday the 19th:
Going to do the stay and scream, ride the rides at Universal Studios and stay for Halloween Horror Nights.
Saturday the 20th:
Free day (going to try to save up a little extra money to go to cirque du soleil)
We are staying at the Doubletree that is across the street from Universal Studios, (gorgeous clean rooms, friendly staff, for $89 a night? How can you beat that?). My husband works at a rental car company so we are going to get a great deal on a rental car for super cheap. We are planning on buying some grocerys and putting them in the mini fridge and making our breakfast and lunches and only eating dinner at the park, hopefully saving a little money.
Does anyone have some tips or advice or think that there are things we are doing wrong and should do differently?
