Advice for Moving Twice

I have always moved during stays, but we always stayed 10-14 nights. I had a car, so I would pack just what we would unload for 1st destination, then separate bag(s) to unpack for final so I didn't have to unload things that would not get used at the first resort. I have even stayed at 3 resorts during one trip. I like moving because we can never agree on ONE RESORT!! and each resort is like a separate vacation. It is a little more work, but I just tried to stay organized, and it wasn't too bad. I get cheap as the trip progresses, so I would pay BS to unload, but would gradually haul things to the car the day before leaving to make it a single trip the morning of. I would pack the car, go to a park, then on to the next resort or take a "pool bag", dress in swimsuits/cover-ups and check in at next resort for pool time until room was ready.

Still have to move once, but I can live with that!!!

Congrats on the waitlist! Now, I'd re-waitlist for the other segment that you need. If this is for the trip in your countdown, you still have 2 months for it to become available. The less I have to move in a trip, the better. Now that said...we are moving 3 times in a week! By choice even!! Hotel at SeaWorld to BCV for 5 nights then to VWL for 1 night!!

We move at times, sometimes to save points, changing from studio to one bedroom. So another DISer had gave the tip pack the kids into 2 gallon zip lock bags-one bag, one complete outfit. So the first couple days we just pull out a bag as needed. Then when I'm staying longer I'll unpack into the drawers. But I still leave the kids clothes in the bags. Mornings are so much faster that way. If I have cold food to move, bell services moves them for us to the new resort. I do not plan any early reserved ARD breakfast the day we move. Next trip moves- 2 nites AKL K, 5 nites boardwalk, 1 nite back to AKL J.
