Advice for meal plans & non-meal plans

Hi!
I'm brand new (and this is my first post!), but hopefully I am doing this right. Here is my question:

I'm going to Disney in May with 6 adults total (no kids!) and half our group has the "meal plan" and half does not. I am interested in making some ADRs (does that stand for Advance Dining Reservation?) but I can't figure out how we can tell which restaurants accept the meal plan and which don't. I want to be sure to pick a few places for dinner that are meal-plan friendly for those in the group who need to use it, but that are still a 'wow' in terms of dining experience for the non-meal-planners. (i.e. I want nicer sit-down restaurants and not food court type of dinners)

Any advice anyone has would be great!

Are you aware that some restaurants cost two credits per person on the dining plan? if you book any of those, you would need to make sure your dining plan friends have enough credits to cover all the meals you plan to book.

I would imagine your first step is to determine which plan your friends are on - basic or deluxe. I have put this on the main restaurant board where we put all requests for restaurant recommendations, but as you are unfamiliar with the dining plan, note that there are a lot of dining plan "experts" on the dining plan sub board.
