Advice for a WDW & US trip in late Oct/Nov

Hi,

I have been to WDW 4 times in the last 2 yrs and obviously am totally addicted. Our next trip is in Oct '10. We are doing the Oct 23rd - 7 night Western on DCL and I want to do a few days at WDW & US each afterwards.
Halloween will be spent at MK.

Questions:

1 - IF the free dining (of any kind) is again offered this late in the year at WDW - how many days did they require you book a package for last year to qualify?

2 - Will Mears pick you up one day and return you to WDW the NEXT day? (Thinking of staying one night at US hotel to take advantage of their Front of the Line program)

3 - Barring Harry Potter's influence on crowds - do I even need Front of the Line access for US in early Nov?

2 - Will Mears pick you up one day and return you to WDW the NEXT day? (Thinking of staying one night at US hotel to take advantage of their Front of the Line program)I don't think so, you'll probably have to check with Mears.

3 - Barring Harry Potter's influence on crowds - do I even need Front of the Line access for US in early Nov?Not usually, but nothing will be the same until all the hoopla dies down. I would go with an onsite hotel just to be safe.
