First a confession, this is not for a Disney trip, it's for a 2 week trip from Pa to Myrtle Beach, so please indulge me on this. Last year car troubles the day before we hit the road for MB forced me to go to Priceline, maybe Travelocity, I forget which, and we got a nice Taurus SE Wagon for dirt cheap for 8 days. This year we're going for 2 weeks and what I'm seeing on Hotwire, Orbitz and the like is not encouraging. Is there some way to do this different than a 'normal' rental of a week or less? I've got Alamo's QuickSilver, Emerald Club from National and FastLane from Dollar if that matters. We're looking to rent out of a small regional airport (AVP), MB is MYR. Two one-ways don't look much better but I haven't tried that with all rental companies. Any advice would be appreciated.
