I will be staying at HRH with DH, DD8 & DD10 next month for 3 days. Anything we should definitely do? Any advice on restaurants, kids & DH are picky eaters. Thanks for any suggestions... :flower:

If your family are picky eaters, I would suggest looking at as many of the menus in advance as possible. I think you can find most of them either through the links on this site, or via the Citywalk page on the Universal site.
And read as many of the posts on this board as possible. These people are probably the top experts on what to do, where to go, how to save time and money, etc., for Universal Orlando.

Check Nickelodeon's Production Schedule upon arrival to the park. Maybe you can participate in a filming (we did!), which would be cool.

As far as eats go, somehow we always end up at Mel's (Is that right??) Drive-In. It's perfect for a fun (but not over-the-top) atmosphere and good hamburgers.

If your girls have never seen ET or Back to the Future, rent those to watch to prepare for the rides based on those movies. You & DH should watch Men in Black. Then, there's all the others - Shrek, Jaws, etc.

Just like the WDW parks, you can purchase autograph books. The last time we were there, Universal's also came with an ink pen.

Have a great time! I think Universal is an awesome park! The atmosphere is different than WDW parks, but there is atmosphere none the less!

Eeyore's Girl thanks for the great idea of renting ET and Back to the Future for the girls to watch before the trip. I will definitely do that :D
