We would love to try this place-any suggestions on best times to go to ensure a seat?

We would love a table, but would be ok with sitting at the counter. We are interested in the full menu (I noticed that you can't get the brownie sundaes for take-out!) There are only two of us.

-Is it generally less crowded during lunch/afternoon or evening?
-Anyone have any experience with this place during value season (first week in Feb.)?
-Are the long waits REALLY unreasonable? Can you put in your name, walk around the BW, and come back while you are waiting?
-Anyone know their hours of operation?

Thanks! This seems like a "not to be missed" place!

If you arrive just before it opens for lunch, you should have no problems being seated immediately and having a great lunch. :) I to think it's more of a lunch and dessert place than a dinner place since it serves stuff like hamburgers and hot dogs. The time you mentioned going also shouldn't be very crowded, either, so if you'd rather do dinner, that will likely work fine, too. Have a great time!

Oh boy thanks!

Well, we were thinking of going there shortly after we arrive to kick off the festivities :cool1:

BUT we are arriving at CBR around 11am-I'm not sure if we will be able to get there before noon rush... but then again, it sounds like we have a chance of less crowds due to the dates of our trip?

We would actually love to grab dinner there-I know its not dinner type food, but we don't mind. I was thinking it would be fun to walk over there from Epcot.

....Also, I plan to splurge with a brownie sundae :goodvibes I don't usually eat that stuff and certainly not in that huge portion so I know I'll be good and stuffed and just want to collapse on the beach for a while!! I'd rather do that at night and not waste the rest of my day.

Wow-those portions DO look huge!! Are they really that big in person?

We had a late lunch (3 pm) there, and had no problem being seated during the value season in October. Thought the burgers were quite good.

Good to know about your positive seating during value season.

Anyone know what time they close?

If you get there early or at an off time, you'll probably be seated pretty quickly. We went around 3 PM in August (also Value season) with a party of 6 and were seated in 15 min. With only two, I imagine it would be even easier.

We just came back from staying at the BCV in early December. We ate dinner at Beaches and Cream twice during our stay (I guess for us burgers and hot dogs = dinner... especially on vacation :thumbsup2 ). We had no problems at all being seated immediately (one time with a party of six and one time as part of a party of 11). The restaurant wasn't full either time, and one time it was pouring rain and we were pretty much trapped at the Beach Club with a ton of other people who weren't willing to venture out. We always tried to arrive by 5:00 or shortly thereafter. Slightly before 5:00 might be a good idea if you are nervous.

Wow this seems like it might be easier than I thought (knock on wood!).

I am just drooling over this place. Spent my summers as a child on Cape Cod and the Islands and it reminds me so much of the beach food there!

This is one of our favorite places as well. Eating when they first open 11 or 11:30am & late afternoon (3-5pm) are best. We've been there in June & Decembers. Obviously the early Dec. time is best, as we usually go right in. I find the counter to be just as nice with only 2 people. Maybe it is because I like to watch them prepare the food?

WARNING! We tried to jump over there the day before our cruise. It happened to be the Sat. of Labor Day just as a HUGE thunderstorm hit. By the time we got parked & back to B&C they told us it would be a 2.5 hour wait!!! We went to the POR Foodcourt instead!

We went in Oct during the week at 6:30 for dinner, they said 40 minute wait and it was about 20...we sat at the counter and the service was super quick. Cannot wait to go back.

OP also asked if you can put your name in and kinda hang around the resort. Does anyone know if this is true?

I'm thinking that we are going to be eating there just about everyday and we'd probably want to eat more toward the peak hours, any advice on that is appreciated.

I went on 27th December,it looked busy but we only waited for 10 minuted for a counter seat...we waited an age for our food, but it was worth it!

When we ate there last year we had about a 20 minute wait but it was worth it! Plus we had just gotten in that afternoon and it was nice just to walk around the pool area close to the restaurant. BTW we were staying at BWV. I had a brownie sundae and it was wonderful! And yes it was huge! I forced myself to eat it anyway! Can't wait till May to have another one! We also loved the burgers and chili.

We are staying at BWV in 3 weeks  How long of a walk was it to Beaches and Cream from there? Also - do you need ADR's? Do they even take them? Thanks!

We were there in early December. Arrived around 7 pm and were seated within 20 min. or so, for a party of 4. LOVED the burger! Can't wait to go back next trip!

I think it only took us maybe 10 minutes to walk there. As far as I know they don't take ADR'S. Hope you have a great time! We liked staying at BWV. Nice location for so many things. It was fun to rent a surrey and ride that around if you can do it!
