I haven't had time to even play back my own Flip video! Leanne is so efficient!

PartyOf5:I actually didn't know what a flip phone was until yesterday....after I saw the video, I had to Google for research. Very neat device! Hmmm...I wonder if Leanne will post Laura's Day 2?

OK, tell me the truth. Either I look really happy or I look like an African American version of Barney the Dinosaur. Seriously. It's just a band of tooth. My teeth would make a T-Rex jealous. I look like Bruce the Shark. "Fish are friends. Not food." Yikes!

PartyOf5: to be honest, I don't think Barney crossed any of our minds! You certainly don't look purple to me and I didn't hear you singing "I Love You, You Love Me." Although now that I think of it, that might be a good song for you and Leanne...you make a perfect team! Anyway, all we saw was one beautiful princess with a radiant smile soaking in the beginning of her lifetime dream.
If my toothsome smile gives you any hint. I am VERY happy! BTW, myself and the team were working very hard all day reading a certain batch of applications. I am bushed!

PartyOf5: we appreciate all the hard work...but if you could just do it a little faster.... <just kidding!> Seriously, this must be so surreal for you...last year you applied to be on the Moms Panel; this year you are reading applications!

As for all the 2nd rounders: I just don't know how you are doing it!!! Especially those of you like Diane who are doing this for the 2nd year in a row! I am a ball of nerves just sitting on the sidelines!!!

Thanks for the pixie dust and well wishes! Yes, two years in a row! If I don't make it this year, I don't think there will be a third attempt...I just can't put myself and family through this again! There are only so many cookies one can eat! However, I'm not the only finalist still in the running so it's great to have the support of others in the same boat.

I'll share a little story to distract us...

My 10 year old son is writing his autobiography for school - his first decade of experiences. My coming into his life as his stepmom was one of these major life events as he's lived with my husband and I since he was one. In the paragraph about me he wrote:

"My stepmother is nice. She loves Disney. but she is against how stepmothers are described in Disney movies."

I was laughing literally out loud, but I was also so moved by what he wrote! How adorable! He's also writing a story entitled, "Walt's Other World" for a writing contest!

Hope you enjoyed this little story about how Disney has touched my life and that you forgot about Round 3 for a little moment Now back to your regularly scheduled obsessing and nail-biting!!

I totally agree, I am so glad that I found this board. The suspense is killing me and my daughter is worse than I am. Awesome! I was hesitant to go during Christmas week because of crowds, but it's my husband's 40th on 12/27 and it's what he wanted to celebrate. And, now, with the "What Will You Celebrate?" theme it's perfect!

We already have MY 40th planned too - Our first MNSSHP in October 2010

It is actually really easy once you know where to look - it took me awhile to find it at first

If you click on "User CP" on the top left of your screen, this will take you to your control Panel. Click on "edit signature" in the column on the left and this will take you to the page where you can create a personalized signature.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Good Morning, Everyone! Well, it's off too work for another day of refreshing my inbox . Seriously, I'm going to try to be really good today and only check my email 3 times, the way all good business books tell you too. Somehow don't think I'm going to make it ! The good news is, it's our first cold day in Texas (only 45 degrees - yes, for us that's very cold) and it finally feels like fall!! Anyway, everyone enjoy your day and hang in there!

Hmm, When I read the original post... I was thinking this:

"What will you Celebrate"?

1. I will Celebrate the piles and piles of bags and laundry that are sitting in our entry way and wash room, for this means we had a wonderful and fruitful vacation building memories with our kids to last a lifetime!

2. I will Celebrate the fact that my jeans are just a little too tight, for this means we are eating well, and things are good (ok, maybe I'll blame the mom's panel wait (mom's panel weight???) for that one! - Hey, I JUST realized, maybe that was why the panel decided to do the 5k, working off the waiting weight!)

3. I will Celebrate all of you, who even if you haven't made it this far, are so supportive and caring of each of us! You guys are an awesome bunch!!!
