I am so far behind on TRs! I had jury duty this week and boy does that throw a schedule off!! I hope you got your house cleaned...want to come to Mississippi??

That party looks like so much fun!! Awesome getting to walk on so many rides and that area by Splash Mtn was too cool! I always think I may upset people for taking pictures...I love taking pictures!!

And I busted out laughing at the tragedy that struck your M&M family...I am so sorry because that was very disrespectful. And just previously I had wondered if your colors had ran after getting wet on Splash! Little did I know you were about to be in mourning!

I can't wait to hear about Hallowishes!! And, what fun to be doing a DisMeet soon!!

the party finally started! Sounds like you made it to lots of candy stops. I know my kids want to do that so we will be hitting our fair share of those. How long did you normally have to wait in line at each stop?

I think we made it to most of the candy stops that night. It only takes a minute or so. Just depends on the line and if people move quickly. Basically, you just walk through and the CM's hand out the candy. Once you reach the candy barrel, there is almost always two, so the line splits.

I wouldn't know anything about getting behind on TR's. I have several I need to play catch up on.

So glad our pain brought a laugh. I even posted that we were wet M&M's on FB when it happened.

Yes, house is clean. Or at least clean enough for the moment. Was your trial at least interesting. I have only had to show up for jury duty once. It was for a nurse being accused of killing 10 patients in a mercy killing way. It was suppose to go on for months, but I got out of it due to Jacob and the school issues. I think the judge was making sure they would have a perfect jury because he dismissed over 100 people that day.

We had a great time at DisneyQuest and DTD today. Fellow Dis'er Gary, he was the driver of the Surry bike that time, met us and Jacob and I showed him around. I have some pics so I'll post on it more later. I have texted Di, from Scotland, and she texted me back. It was my first time to do an international phone call, so I was really worried who or where I was texting. Meeting at DHS tomorrow.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. The weather here is finally a little cooler. Today was the first day.

BOO to the rude,mean grumps in the barbershop! It amazes me how the happiest place on earth can bring out the very worst in some people.

Finally Hallowishes began and we all ended up standing and moving more to the center to watch the show. Rather than post a few pics, I did a little slide show. This is my first, so not very good. I timed the first few with the music and then let the rest go. I had so many pictures the song plays twice. Hope you like it(click on the photo):



Hopefully tomorrow will be Boo To You!!! And yet again, I learned I need to splurge on a better flash.

Loved your slideshow! Great job I just love Grim Grinning Ghosts - my 3 yr old grandson loves this old tape of Disneyland songs and he's never been scared of that song or the dancing trees, but he gets scared of the Country Bears - go figure

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Been crazy around here.

As you remember, we had just finished watching the fireworks, Hallowishes. Honestly, it is probably my favorite fireworks show. Just love the music!

We were hoping to catch the second parade and thought we could squeeze in HM first. So we headed back that way and saw one of our favorite spots to get castle pictures. If the water is calm, it makes for a great shot:



This picture did not do it justice. It really was beautiful. I missed with the settings on my camera, but that was the best. I also held on to my camera tightly for a certain someone reading this that had a phone problem here.

Made it to HM. Line was a little long, but not too bad. They have entertainment during the party.



That pic reminds me of something you would see in a ghost hunters type of program. It's got that mist they are alwasy talking about.

We just love her and were so glad she was out.

We enjoyed our ride on HM. Sadly, I was pointing out things I now knew about it and said I will never look at it the same way again. Jonas informed me I was ruining it for him. Oops.

After HM we went to look for a spot to view the parade. The last two years we have ended up on Main Street and it wasn't too busy. Well, Frontierland was packed and I now wish we had headed up Main Street instead. We found a spot for Jacob, may have squeezed him in front of some college age kids busy taking photos. At least he is small. We sat down in the back until the parade started. I remember hearing a girl that sat next to us comment when we stood up "Oh, so that is how it is going to be?" Oops. Everyone was standing up behind those sitting down though, so we weren't the only ones.

Last year I realized why so many people put external flashes on their camera. The flash couldn't keep up with my picture taking. Maybe I'm just trying to use it too much and that isn't really the reason so many people do get the other flashes. But I ended up missing a lot of great shots.

These are great pics, Melissa! As much as I enjoy the Christmas decorations (MVMCP is a once do type of party - definitely go over when it's free, if possible)), I absolutely LOVE MNSSHP - so many characters come out..and HalloWishes is the best! Hope I can get back sometime....maybe next yr.

And this is where I missed out on the best shot of the night.


Right after I took that photo, Captain Jack, looked over the side of the ship and stared directly down at the girl next to me. Turns out she was a CM and got all of the characters attention. But, due to the flash, my camera wouldn't take another pic because it was "busy".

I just love the dog:




Sadly, the Gravediggers didn't do their dance until they were past us.













When I purchased the CD and heard the clucking music, I remember thinking "When is that?" But now I know:




















That last float smelled so good.

After the parade we decided to go get our pic in front of the Haunted Mansion. I still need to purchase it, but will add it in later.

It was funny because there was a CM directing people to the HM or the Photopass spot. This guy got in Jonas' way going to the picture spot and then again on his way out. I asked Jonas if the CM's job was to get in his way, because he was doing a great job of that.

That's funny that he was scared of the Country Bears, but the other. Jacob doesn't like scary movies, but loves scare houses.

We have now been to WDW twice together, but the February trip will be the first where we ride together. Soooooo excited!!!

Glad I could help out. There is also a great pic of Headless Horseman you can order. Obvious I didn't take it, but it is so good I have to order it. Maybe I will do that right now.
