Home again home again jiggity jig!

Happy Easter all!

I'm back in my sweat pants in my own house yelling at my kids to get out of my room because Mommy needs a BREAK and I can do that because I'm in my own house and I know they can only do minimal damage in the safe zone (although they did manage to rip down a set of curtains already)

Easter dinner was nice...My in laws, SIL, BIL four nephews, two kids, husband and I....it was mass chaos, I like that.

I made a pineapple upside down cake and it's really good...not that I know, of course, but I needed to trim the cake so it would fit in the pan better, so was forced into tasting it.

I'm going to have a drink or 5...talk to you all later.

I hope there is a translator present when you start talking;)

A drink or 5 sounds like a great idea. Thanks Tig :thumbsup2 I'll join ya

I only made it to 2 drinks. Then I had dinner and ate too much, so stopped the alcohol. I've turned into such a bad drinker. :rotfl:

I hope you do better than me, Marcie. :teeth:

Joey (my son) stopped over and I asked him how Kate was. (She's the pregnant one) He said he got home from work the other night and was hungry so he ate a bowl of cereal using up the last of the milk.

She woke him up at 7:30 the next morning yelling at him "What am I suppose to have for breakfast now that you used all the 'expletive' milk?" (I do believe more than one expletive was uttered.)

So the next day he brought her home flowers and she cried.

Ah, yes, the hormones are raging. :lmao:

I am sooo happy those days are gone!!!!!

I think DH and I had the same arguement once...or twice:lmao:

You've been really into baking lately, huh? You're making me HUNGRY.

Hellloo all. Well, we all survived another holiday with my family! Actually, it was pretty nice and pleasant.

And then we went to DH's side, and that was lovely too!

Then, we came home, and I was getting V ready for her bath, and we do the same little routine every night. I tell her it's bath time, she replies, "Baaa?" and we go to the changing table, strip her down, and she does a nekkid crawl to the bathroom. Well, tonight, she was crawling into the bathroom, stops, and stands up. I looked back (I was already at the tub starting the water), and I saw her stand up, but I turned back around.

Then I hear water hitting the floor. Greeeaaat. She's peeing. And looking down at her "stream" with the funniest, most puzzled look, like, "That's coming out of me?!" Then....

She takes a step, because I guess it spooked her a little, and she slips in her now large pee puddle and completely soaks herself. At which point, I am :lmao: to the point of tears. BAD mommy. But I couldn't help myself. It was too funny.

She didn't even cry- she was just shocked. And soaked. Along with my floor and the little rug in front of the toilet. :rotfl:

At least she was en route to the tub, I guess.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Classic!!!!

Write that one down so that you don't forget it for future embarrassment potential!

I'm going to.

I recently bought a journal for that very purpose!! (Well, not solely for embarassment, but so I could write down cute things she said/did, or just little things about her growing up). This will be a good one. Poor baby. :goodvibes

Becky, that is TOO funny. Poor girl. :rotfl:

I have been into dessert making/baking lately. Not sure why, but I'm making a lot of things my mom used to make that I haven't made either before or in a long time.

Oh my...those pregnancy hormones. :scared1: Problem is, my perimenopause hormones are almost as bad. :scared:

Yes, Paige, 2 was plenty. :)
