On the weather channel they said that there is sleet falling from the sky in the Dallas area. Where else would it be falling from?

At 11 it started raining, by 12 it had gone from rain to sleet to snow, started covering the ground and surfaces, and we now have volleys of parents coming to get their children. It's going to be fun driving home.

OK, that is just weird weather you are having!

Huge flakes of well, stuck together sleet is what it really is, but the kids think it's snow, it's snowy looking. It stings your face if you face into it. Our kids were looking out the windows, and so were the kids in the classroom across the courtyard. That teacher opened his window, scooped snow from his window sill and snowballed our windows. We have no sills. So, we all put on our coats and went out into the courtyard to mount a counterattack. And we got him good.

One of the kids when he first saw how huge the clumps were said "There are snowballs falling from the sky!"

Since it's free chili day at Hard Times Cafe I think I'm going to bring the boys there for dinner. Any guesses as to how much $ I'll spend on free chili? Need to eat real food and to get out of the house some, though, so it will be worth it (I've had a migraine all day, so haven't done anything today).
