Good Morning!

If you were going to serve Quice, muffins and salad for dinner and then unexpectedly, another 2 adult guests were showing up (and what you had planned isn't enough for that many people)....what would you serve in addition?

:rotfl: Thanks, Angel, but not an option. You see, last night we were supposed to have the quiche and muffins, but b/c my DH wanted to take a walk to the library (we all went, it was nice) we didn't get home in time to get the quiche in the oven and eat at a normal hour. So, now the quiche and muffins are made...and last night we had to order pizza.

Good Morning! It's Thursday, We've made it through half the week!

bbl :wave2: off to the freeway to go to the dr --- need I say traffic!! :scared1: it will be ok though, just jamm to my tunes in the car :car:

Good morning!

Amie, I'd have an appetizer and a big salad in addition to the other stuff. Glad to see that Quice is quiche...I had no idea what the first thing was. :rotfl:

Fruit salad, Ames, and a pepper plate.....hot or bell, your preference, but I recommend lots of colors to dress it up. Let's see........quiche, salad, muffins, fruit salad, peppers...........does need one more thing. I'm thinking............

I got it! Fresh berry (maybe frozen actually) and cream compotes for dessert! :)

How about some sort of soup? If you have a cup of soup with it, then you could serve smaller pieces of quiche!
Or the adults have the quiche and your boys have sandwiches!
I was also wondering what quice was! I was alittle scared thinking of the possibilities! :lmao:
Something tells me that if we keep up with all these suggestions, she's going to have more than 2 unexpected guests for dinner! :rotfl2:

That's a great idea Caro. I'd kill for some broccoli cheese soup today. We just had a fire alarm go off and had to go out in 30 degree weather with the kids sans coats to wait for the fire truck. It was a bad detector. I'm glad the rain wasn't here yet.

Now I want to come over for dinner.
But with all these suggestions we'd have to make the dinner. :rotfl:

I could be there in less than 45 minutes. :cool2:

I was just thinking last night (yeah, I know, dangerous :rotfl2: ) that I wish I liked broccoli cheese soup. We have a BIG bag of broccoli florets in the fridge that R got at Costco or Sams. Every night with dinner Zach has steamed broccoli (nothing on it, not even salt). Doesn't matter what else we have. This is the child who lived mainly on pizza for many years.

You have very strange children. ;)

At 11 it started raining, by 12 it had gone from rain to sleet to snow, started covering the ground and surfaces, and we now have volleys of parents coming to get their children. It's going to be fun driving home.
