Oh, Lara, that sounds like fun. Believe me, if this baby shows his or her "stuff" tomorrow, I will be hitting the outlets like a mad woman. Of course, we have a GAP outlet right here in Old Town. That ought to get me into some trouble. Then the Carter's is at Potomac Mills.

Arundel Mills has an Osh Gosh outlet...I dropped a lot of money in there!

I'm going over to the Queenstown Outlets, they have great stuff over there...in particular, I want to hit the Chico's outlet....I love Chicos.

Sorry ladies, but I am swamped this week

By the time the laundry goes into the duffel bags and comes back *here* everything is so wrinkled there is no way I could send him to work like that.

And I have a fettish about vacation: everything has to be ironed before it goes in the suitcases. I need an intervention

Ok, I had to stop the madness! I put away the ironing board after I realized I just ironed Paul's bathing suit and the denim bag we use to carry things to the pool

We leave at 7AM on Saturday. (well the plane leaves then, we will be up much earlier).

I can't tell you how much I hate the week before vacation. We pack stuff you wouldn't believe, like beer. Imagine that! So the night before Paul is on the scale trying to weigh the suitcases to make sure they are not overweight. I have to count out all the prescriptions, vitamins, get my make up bag together, count underwear and socks, etc. etc.

Home from the outlets!

I bought a skirt and a pant suit at chicos....the skirt was super cheap ($5 ) so I HAD to buy it. It's a velvet broomstick style electric blue skirt....don't know if I'll ever wear it, but it's comfy. I'll stick it in the back of the closet and wear it next year. The pant suit has Travelers pants (LOVE those) and a beautiful silk print tunic. Pricy, but sooo cute! The sales staff looked through me when I walked in because I was in slob wear...they paid much more attention when they saw the color of my credit card .

Bomb would also be proud, I bought not one, but TWO new pairs of shoes. Neither is particularly cute, but both fit and are leather...unheard of in my world. I also bought a new leather purse. I resisted the $160 coach and bought the afordable one from the Leather store. I also bought two bras. Not a bad morning!
