I posted this on the attractions forum, but I thought I'd get more advice posting on here.

Can any of you tell me about your experience at the Pleasure Island Adventures Club? Is it worth going? Did they serve any special drinks you can recommend?

Thank you!:cutie:

I wouldn't want to ruin the experience by stating exactly what it is about. We went in having no idea and all I can say it is it is definitely a funny, entertaining experience. They do have a bar I believe, I know my boyfriend got me a beer so not sure about any special drinks. I remember we walked in and were told to wait for the show to start. I went to the restroom and came back and it had started and I believe I got called out for being late. :)

I was with my boyfriend and two other coworkers (I was there for a conference). My coworkers weren't up for dancing at the clubs. However we all agreed Adventurer's Club was the best part of Pleasure Island and worth the price of admission alone.

AC isn't a restaurant, but since you already posted on the Attractions board and we sometimes discuss bars on this board I'm going to leave this thread. Usually they'd get moved to the Attractions board. In my opinion AC is far more of an attraction than a bar.

If you go, don't walk in, look around and walk out. Some visitors do this and miss the entire point.

Stay for a show. The main shows are in the "library." There's show times posted in the club (look for plaques by the room doors) and other shows occur in other rooms.

The signature drink is the "Kungaloosh" if you like sweet frozen drinks.

We absolutely love the AC! Just sit around the Lobby for a bit, get a drink from the bar - yes, the Kongaloose (sp?) is the signature drink; but you can get anything.

When they tell you that a show is opening in a "Special Room" - go!

There is just so much going on there. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you; but these folks are the best Impovisational Characters I have ever seen.

Spend some time there and they may become "Your New Best Friends" :rotfl2:

When Bob and I and the kids (adult kids) were there the night after our wedding the "French Maid" brought us a wedding present of - two glasses of bar citrus garnishes and two napkins wrapped around some tiny shark teeth. She said they were her removed molars and wisdom teeth that she had been saving for us since she saw our "Gift List" :rotfl2:
