Has anyone used this provider for a golf cart rental? We were quoted $350 for a 17 day rental. The price seems too good to be true for a 6 passenger cart. We would need to pick up and return at their facility. Any feedback is appreciated.

Not heard of them, @my3princes. That is a fantastic rate especially given it's a 6-seater.

Is this the same vendor? https://www.advantagegolfcars.com/

And is their location on the website the same one you were given for the pickup/dropoff?

They seem like a big dealer with multiple locations around the state. If it's the same location, that's a ways to go for pickup/dropoff. Usually with a pickup or dropoff you go to pick it up (the cart is on a flat-bed trailer), you pull the trailer to FW and unload the cart, then return the flat-bed trailer. Then drive back to the Fort. That's covering the distance 4X for pickup and another 4X for dropoff. Or do you have access to a flat-bed trailer and only cover the distance 2X? Their trailer or your trailer?

Let us know how your experience goes. I think folks would always be on the lookout for another golf cart provider.

If you can minimize windshield time, it sounds like a great deal.

I was completing the paperwork today and on the last page it asked for a photo copy of front and back of credit card and id. It didn't seem normal or safe to me. I checked with Chase and the fraud department said there is no reason why the wouldn't that as a verbal authorization would suffice and advised against providing those documents. When I called Adavantage Romina said that it was corporate policy and that she would cancel the reservation. I told her I didn't want to cancel and wanted to talk to corporate myself. She refused to provide further information. They've been in business for years and online reviews were mixed with really no reviews of their rentals. We'll pass. Who have you guys used with success?

we use Disney carts, always no problem and quick pick up and easy returns. tried kenny's once, what a PITA

I agree with the offsite pick up/drop off. You will waste more than half a day each time. We rented uhaul truck and flatbed trailer that kept switching locations because of availability. Each time was further away. If you have your own truck and trailer, it will be easier, but in the end will take a few hours out of your day.

We used to live in Orlando so we plan to be offsite some of the time with friends etc so we can incorporate pickup and return into our trips out.

I don't blame you for going a different route... the issue is probably related the company being pinched a time or two by fraud. Folks using stolen credit cards or charge backs. A copy of your id allows them to not only confirm the address on the CC and ID are the same but also they can use that for charge back purposes...

Regardless, i would have done the same as you.
