I am going to be traveling to WDW in April with my DD, 13. I decided to try a tour this year and booked us for Mickey's Magical Memories at MK. I had to give my credit card to reserve the tour and I expected that. However, the price has already been charged on my card and the tour is not going to happen for another three months. Tour experts out there..is this regular policy? Is it a new policy? I had to give my cc info last year for the Pricess dinner in Norway and nothing was charged in advance. Thanks!

I am not a travel expert but I know that they did the same thing to me last Sept. All the tours I booked was charged right away. (I was 3 months or so away from my trip too)

When I went to Italy a couple years ago any separate tours I knew I wanted I had to pay full price for right then. So I guess it does happen.

As long as they give me the option to cancel it, I don't mind too much.

Your only other choice with Disney Tours is to take a chance and try to book either the week before or maybe during your trip. But when the parks are busy and your schedule is tight this might not be the best option or you could be disappointed.

I hope you enjoy the tour, I haven't done that one! pixiedust:

They did the same thing for the Princess Tea Party at the GF. Maybe with the pricier items they charge ahead of time. :confused3
