Adults Wearing Mickey Mouse Ears

Personally, I prefer the absolutly ridiculous looking Goofy hat. Last trip I don't think I saw any other adults wearing one so I definetly got a lot of attention with it and all of it was positive.

I've worn Mickey Ears (The Gold DL 50th anneversary ones), Mickey Tophat, the Goofy hat and even Tigger Ears as an adult in the parks and had fun every time. Plus, you usually get extra attention from CMs when you have a fun hat on. Characters were constantly messing with the tigger ears, I was honored as a hero by the pirate band on Tom Sawer Island for slaying the half man half dog creature and wearing it's head as a hat, and my wife and I got a private boat on POTC at MK when I had on the tophat and she had the Minnie veil.

Fun hats are definetly a must for me and add another layer of fun to my trips.

Not wear my ears?????? I always wear my ears!! There are plenty of adults who wear ears! Last year my BFF and I went to BBB and walked around with pink hair and tiaras for a week! It's WDW!

My DH bought me birthday ears when we were there last. I wore them ALL day at MK on my birthday, which is Jan. 1st. My kids didn't even blink an eye. They totally expect something like that from me. I'll always be a kid-at-heart. I think that's why I love WDW so much.

Myself and DBF wore our ears with pride on our trip!

We had pirate Mickey ears, mine were bright pink Wasn't bothered in the slightest.

My Mum's said that we can have personalised 'original' ears next year too, can't wait

My son and I will be wearing our ears in 2 weeks and three days!!! Mine are sparkly minnie ears on a headband that I bought for my Halloween costume last year. His are Sorcerer Mickey. My husband has Conan O'Brian hair and a big noggin so no ears for him.

DH and I got matching blue and pink ears as an anniversary gift, and we are definitely going to wear them to the parks. We didn't get to go on our actual anniversary, so we are saving them and will be doing our "celebration" on our next visit, ears and all.

I wore a Minnie ears headband. DGD gave them to me to wear when she got her First Ears as we walked into MK and no longer needed them. I even wore them in pictures!!

I'm 23 and I wear them. So does my fiance. We had some photopass pictures taken with them on but.....word of warning....I am still chastised by family members for wearing them with the strap around me chin! You never know though with those strong Florida winds!!!

I will be wearing my Minnie ears this weekend! Be sure to get your ears as soon as you get to the parks , that way you will get good use of them because seriously I don't know of anybody who wears there ears outside of WDW.

Forgive me if this isn't the right place for my question, but I'm wondering if adults wear the Mickey Mouse ears in the parks? I know lots of kids wear them, and they have special "bride" and "groom" ones, but I'm talking about the regular ears.

I know many DISsers are going to flame me for this...

Honestly? Most adults I see don't wear them.

Granted, I see adults wearing the "Bride and Groom" ears all the time. But it's unusual to see an adult wearing ears. Now, it's not so unusual that I think twice when I see it... and if you want to, then I say go for it! But I'd say there are far more adults not wearing them than those that do.

I have a head band with two springs and on each spring is a Minnie head wearing a sparkling pink princess hat. They bounce a lot and have come in handy sevaral times making kids in line turn their cries into laughter.
They are kept in my suitcase so they are never forgotten when I go back to my happy place. So they will be worn again in less then two months -- just booked a trip this week and can't wait to be that adult walking around the world proudly wearing my ears!

I'll be 18 this year and every year that I go I still have to get Minnie Mouse ears and I wear them frequenty throughout our stay. You won't feel silly. I've seen many adults over the years wearing them. Where else can you wear them and bring out the child in you that has never left.
