Adults ordering from children's menu

Does Disney allow adults to order from their children's menus? There are a few restaurants that I would like to try, but we have some less adventuous adults in our group. Would they be allowed to order a burger from the childrens's menu? Have you ever done this?

Worst case, they'll just charge an adult price for (what is generally a larger portion of) a child meal.

Check out allears.net as of this week the kids menus have changed and I doubt there is anything an adult would want. Baked pieces of chicken, pita pizza, or chicken salad are the main options. For the less adventurous they will leave off sauces and serve you a plain steak, pasta, etc.

One night we were at Olivia's and my DH asked if he could order from the kid's menu and was told yes. They did ask if he wanted the kid's portion or an adult portion but said it was up to him.

Yuck! Thanks for the heads-up on the new children's menu. If that is all the variety there is, we better re-think some of our dining. We only have 1 in our group who is actually the right age, but we were thinking my 11yr old niece could maybe order from the child's menu as well. I could see adding some "healthy" options, but that is way to limited.

Only some of the child menus have changed (and at least some of them have always had very limited child menus). I wouldn't worry about the change -- it is in response to parent complaints that healthy options were not available. Now they are. Otherwise, it doesn't appear that much has changed overall. Children have always had limited options; they still have limited options.
