When you go to the Universal site to book a room it asks for adults in the room does that mean my kids stay free?

With new family 4 less rate if I put in 2 adults and room is $199.00 per night if in put in 4 adults (though my kids are only 16 and 13) the rate is $239.00 per night. The room sleeps four both ways.

If I book it as two adults will I have problems when I check in with two kids?

I'd say if they're under 18 and still your kids, then yes, they stay free.
I wouldn't expect any problems.

Any child under 18 staying in the room with you is free as long as you aren't going over the room limit. They do not even have to be your children. I have taken my daughter's & their friends... total of 5 of us. Sometimes 1 adult, 4 under 18 or 2 adults, 3 under 18....

You will not have any problems. Your children are not counted as adults when it comes to staying at the hotel unless they are over 18. Even then, if they are still in school, the hotel may consider them as children.
