Adults, do you buy yourself a Happy Meal?

I admit it: I'm a Happy Meal buyer too. I can't even pretend it's for DD anymore since she's as big as I am now!

And, yes, I keep the toys. Hey, if she's too cool to order a Happy Meal then she's too cool to play with my toy. Even at home in her room with the shades drawn.

Now I could eat a full-size meal, no problem, but since I've hit 40 I need to start downsizing my meals before my body upsizes!

I am really surprised at all of the other adults here who go for the Happy Meals-and some (like me sometimes!) just for the toy!! They didn't have Happy Meals when I was little enough to enjoy them, so I guess I am trying to replace that empty spot in my childhood...

My DSIL buys her girls (8 & 10) an "American Meal" (?) at McDonald's. She says it is a Happy Meal w/o the toy for about 30 cents less.. A Happy Meal without a toy would make me very sad.

And yes, y'all, I am the mom in the drive-thru line who not only checks the orders before I leave to make sure they are correct (my McDonald's cannot seem to get the apple dipper substitution right!), but I am also looking at the toy to make sure we don't already have it!! Sorry!!!

Those dolls are adorable. Please post when they come out..I know that Hot Wheels are next for the boys, is that when those dolls are appearing for the girls?

I love Happy Meals! And I love them for the toys! My girls love the beenie bears that are out now.

I also love their fish fillets......

I love to get Happy Meals - the food is just the right amount, and I keep the toy for my nephew....or myself if it is cute enough

Yep, I buy them for me! And like you, I check our orders before we drive away. (They messed up our apple dippers on Saturday!!) Oh boy Hot Wheels!!!!

I don't eat french fries or hamburger buns anymore so I don't buy myself a happy meal. I <i>did</i> buy happy meals and other "kids" meals for my mother, though. She loved the little toys and the amount of food was just right for her.

When I want chicken nuggets, I buy the Happy Meal, if not, then I buy the #1 combo which is Big Mac, love them!

I usually buy if it's a Disney Toy. I am doing teenies as i have all the other sets. I get Cb anyway so for me it's easier this way.

No It's Polly pockets for Girls. I will try and give you heads up on dolls or anything disney since my one brother is mgr. there and has a disney crazy sister.
