Adult ordering kids meal

Am I allowed to order off the kids menu at places like 50s prime time(obviously not at a buffet )? My kids are disney adults, but all one of them wants is chicken nuggets(don't even get me started). Also, what about sharing meals at places like this? I am craving 50s PT, but looking to save a little money and they always give you so much food.

My niece ordered from the children's menu at 50's PTC with no issues. AS to sharing, I have never had a problem sharing a meal in Disney restaurants.

I order from the kids menu all the time, although not nuggets. A very few restaurants will charge an adult price but not many.

Just adding in to agree with the others. My mother ordered kids meals all the time in the world with no problem. As for sharing, no problem there either. My poor daughter is five and with minimal exception is yet to even have her own disney meal Make her share everything with me since she eats next to nothing and I could stand to do the same ; )

My mom orders kids meals all the time, and the rest of my family often share entrees at WDW restaurants, especially at 50s prime time (their servings are so huge!).

I've been wondering same thing!! Adult steak may be too big and pricy for my 11 year old but the kids steak would be perfect if I could order off kids menu for him. We don't have the dining plan and I'd rather not have to pay for adult meal and him only eat half!

I think we have the same daughter. Mine eats like a bird (except chips). If I bought her a kids meal, she would waste it. For example, last night we went out and she threw a fit that I would not let her order of the menu. She ended up eating 4 of DH's fries and a crust from a piece of the pizza I ordered. Glad I did not pay for her to get her own meal.

My children are both incredibly picky, it's awful (and please don't judge, we have tried everything). 2 years ago we dined at Whispering Canyon and the waiter gave me a hard time about ordering the kids meal for my then 12 year old. I had to say, if you need to charge her as an adult, it's fine, but please just give her chicken nuggets. I was a little disappointed by the attitude. Especially since my husband and I had ordered drinks and appetizers. We were clearly not trying to be cheap about it.

My husband and I almost always share meals. When we don't I end up getting a kids meal. Never had a problem doing this.
