I need some suggestions, my husband and I just booked our first adult only trip for may:cool1: . We will be on the basic dining plan and I am looking at making reservations. Where would you recommend for a nice dinner. I am thinking about The Wave and Raglan road as we have never tried that but I need one more restaurant and it could be a 2 tbs place. Thanks for the help!

I dont know if these are under your plan. But here are my suggestions.
Citricos, Maya, Yachtsmans St, Flying Fish, Bistro De Paris

I don't believe Bistro is on the Dining Plan unless it changed for 09. If it is, it's fabulous.

Jiko is my all time favorite.

Citricos is lovely.

For 1 credit, I like Spoodles, Tepan Edo, Grand Floridian Cafe, and 50s Prime Time.

I'll put in a second on both Spoodles and the Grand Floridian Cafe. Also Flying Fish if 2 credits is okay.

California Grill, Yachtman's Steakhouse, Citrico's, Rose & Crown... all depends on what type of food you are looking for... and where. Certainly not on the plan, but the most "romantic", Victoria & Albert's - expensive, but worth every penny !

Sorry, where is Citrcos (?) located, I've seen it mentioned here many times. We're also heading down as 2 adults. Thanks. :thumbsup2

Citricos is upstairs at the Grand Floridian. It's right next to Victoria & Alberts. I just did a review on it. Link is in my siggie :)

Here are some places that we always enjoy as a party of 2 grownups :)

Boma
Le Cellier
Tutto Italia

none of these are 2 dining credits...but I hear great things about Narcoosees, Citricos and Jiko, and those are more "adult" restaurants.

Our favorite is Jiko at the AKL. It is upscale, quiet, and delicious.
I also enjoyed Narcoossee's, Flying Fish and Kona Cafe. We did not enjoy the Yachtsman Steakhous - but we are in the minority there.
Have a Great Trip

Thanks everyone. I called today and we decided on

Raglan Road- looks fun and have always wanted to try it
Kona -for breakfast - sounds like yummy choices
Tutto Italia- Wanted to eat here last trip but DH got sick and we had to cancel
The Wave- we had our best meal ever here last trip

We were lucky and got all the times we wanted. I really appreciate all of the suggestions

We loved the Wave. Can't say enough good things especially for adults. We are going back for breakfast and dinner in June. Can't comment on the 2 TS places yet--we're trying FF, Yachtsman & Citricos in June!
