Adult dresses inspired by Characters

I Am looking at buying an Ursula dress off Etsy for WDW in January , I am wondering how close a dress can be to a costume before Disney will make you change into regular clothes ?

I would imagine that dress would be fine Lots of adults 'disbound', which seems to be using regular clothes to mimic the colors of characters, that dress reminds me of that. It isn't a full out costume with tentacles attached, just a sundress with the right coloring and pattern

Agreed, that's inspired by, but not a costume. Also, a very pretty dress in its own right. If the tentacles were dangling off and not part of the dress, that would be a different story.

Yes I was hoping it would count as dis bounding I've never done it before it sounds fun to do that. I am also thinking of getting some Ursula costume jewelry what do you think?
