This year will be the first trip to DW that will have to purchase the adult DDP for my son. He really doesn't like the looks of any of the adult entrees at a couple of the restaurants we want to try. Can he order from the kids menu and use a credit from the adult plan?

Yes, but...

They will likely be able to make an "adult" portion of the kids meal for him.

But, it's likely that the plan will cost you way more than the value you receive. The adult price is over $60/night, and kids meals are cheap. Be sure you do the math.

In general, if you aren't buying a meal worth at least $35 at TS while using an adult dining credit, you're losing money.

Depending on your plans, it may be better to order from the kids' menu OOP in those cases, and save the credits for other meals. Even if you didn't want additional TS meals, you'd probably get better value trading down a adult TS credit at CS than using an adult TS credit for a kids' TS meal.
