hi anyone else out there love chip n dale?
we especially love dale-we named our cat dayle, she is our little princess princess:

Count me in! Before my honeymoon trip last year, I really couldn't care either way about them. But after all of the great interaction with them (including them "hitting" on my DW and pounding my knife and fork on the table in a "where's my food" sort of way at LTT), they quickly became two of my favorites. They are just so mischievous!

I love Chip and Dale! They are so cute! I'll buy pretty much anything that they are on! One of my good friends also loves them, so whenever i find something with them on it, I'll buy one for her too!!!!

Count me in. I have been in love with them since I met them at the 1964 NY World's Fair. THey were the first stuffed animals I bought when I found out I was pregnant.

I'm a Chip and Dale fan also. My dog gets excited by the chipmunks in my sister's yard so I bought some Chip and Dale stickers to decorate the scrapbook pages I have for her. I also have a Chip and Dale DVD, but no children to watch it yet  Of all the characters at Disney World, the ones I most want pictures of are C and D.

I LOVE all characters but Chip and Dale are definitely among my top favorites! Although I have never had a good memorable interaction with them as of yet. Maybe next time! However, I have been passed up by them (other characters too) as they went to see kids and totally walked past and ignored me standing in line and then moving right onto the next family. Oh well, guess adult only couples are in the minority!

kydeb1346, that is disappointing. :(

We are an adult only family and know what it's like to be by-passed too---not by characters since this will be our first time at DW as a couple, but in other places. :sad1:

My absolute favorite memory is of Chip sitting down at a meal at the Concourse Steakhouse Contemporary to feed DD her broccoli. DD was almost 4 years old, now 21. He kind of gave her a large piece to chew and she chewed like a trooper. She finished chewing and threw her head into Chip's lap to give him a great big hug. We have a fantastic picture of this moment, talk about priceless. Oh, yeah DD loves broccoli by the way.

We bought DVC because we knew this was where we wanted to make more family memories.

DH and I have gone without the kids, almost empty nesters, if you wave and smile at the characters they will spend time with you. Have your camera handy, tell your favorite character they are the one you like best, you should have a great time. We did!!!!!

Chip & Dale are hot ;)
Let's see... I have a C&D-autographed pillow case.
A few years ago, I was waiting to get in to MGM. The chipmunks were hanging out with us Guests; I was reading the Unofficial Guide... one of them looked at the book, looked at me and started wagging his finger in my face in admonishment :)
And last week, I was at the Character Connection during EMH. Mickey and Goofy were there along with Pluto (who I actually missed seeing before he went backstage to be 'walked'), and, of course, Chip & Dale being themselves. One approached me from each side and kissed me on my cheeks. Then one of them (sorry, I'll have to check PhotoPass to confirm the identity) motioned that I should kiss him on his cheek. I complied - except at the last second he turned his head and kissed me on the lips!!!

DH and I love Chip & Dale, too. On our last trip (Sept.), we saw them a bunch of times. I had a Chip and Dale shirt on (I got it at our Disney store), and Dale spotted it across Main Street. He came running up to me, pointing at my shirt and jumping up and down. I also had on a birthday button. He pointed at it and "asked" if I was 21? I said, "No, I'm 30, but don't tell!" We have a great picture of Dale and I making the "Shhhhh" motion at each other! :rotfl:

You can tell I LOVE them. My DD is now 6 and ranks them up with the princesses. They always seem to go out of their way to interact with people.

Our best experience was a couple months ago, we were at the Character Connection in Epcot and I was carrying my daughters stuffed C&D while she visited the other characters. They both snuck up behind me and "stole" their likenesses and then went to where my daughter was getting her picture with Donald and made it clear that they were obviously her favorites. They went on for about five minutes with Donald, all trying to ham it up for my daughter's attention. Of course, now she always expects them to remember her.

My DW likes Chip and Dale as you can tell by this picture.

I just bought a Ilove chip n dale pin and am sure to wear it when i see themin the parks

Several years ago Judy got married to Dale at breakfast at the Cape May Cafe.

I had told the handler that Judy was in love with Dale. We were in one of the semi-booths (the ones open on both sides). All of a sudden Chip, Dale, Pluto and Goofy came up to our table together.

Dale got down on bended knee and took one of Judy's hands to kiss. Chip, who was obviously Best Man, opened a napkin and in it were two white napkin rings, which were indicated to be wedding rings. Goofy conducted the ceremony and Pluto was the witness. Judy was beside herself and I was the photographer.

Later, Goofy wrote a note telling us that people were allowed to be married to one of each species at Disney World and it was not condsidered to be bigamy. She was also told that she had to let Dale know in advance of her arrival each trip so he would be able to coordinate with all of his other wives.

I still have the pictures of the "wedding", as well as the "ring" Judy kept.

thats so funny. so all you have to do is let the handler know you love a character and you can get married? i wanna marry dale too!

Chip and Dale are my favorite. I have to share…

When my Dsis and I were little we always went to Disney almost every year. We sang all the songs during the 18 hour drive to the world!!! My Ddad got sick of the songs. Every time we said Mickey Mouse he would start tickling us and we had to say chip and dale to get him to stop. It is very difficult to get out chip and dale when trying not to pee your pants. We were so proud of ourselves when we learned to spell MM, but the catch was we had to spell Chip and dale to get him to stop. Mom would give us the letters one at a time!!! Oh the torture!!

My daughter recieved a proposal from Goofy in Epcot this Spring. He got down on one knee and all. They he tried to elope with her. It was so funny. :rotfl:

Her soon to be real fiance stepped in and the jokingly sparred for her. It makes for great memories. Now if only I had known it was going to happen I could have had a camera ready!

We love Chip and Dale too. They are my oldest favorite characters. :thumbsup2
