While I'm an adult who drinks mostly water and club soda, my dear adult husband likes a beer or a cocktail now and then. Are there any places in the Animal Kingdom that serve adult beverages? If so, are there any you particularly recommend? Thanks so much! :3dglasses

I know they do serve alcohol because we got a mixed drink there a year or so ago. (Im not a big drinker so I didn't pay much attention to what they offered though.)

There is a bar in Africa just over the bridge on the left where my DH got us something yummy but I have to ask him what it was called. We like to sit and have a drink there while the kids watch the various african dancers do the shows. Its a nice break :)

I know a few of the stands and restaurants sell beer as well but after making the mistake of having one in the hot FL afternoon sun I now order up a large water instead :)

Thanks for the responses! :goodvibes I'm going to go cruise the menus on AllEars and see what else I can find out.

Yak & Yeti has a side service bar area and the Emperor's Magarita has got it all! ..... It's a slush drink, big in size, optional salted rim, refreshing on a hot Sept day (went down way to fast so had to get another ;) ) and tastes great...not too strong but you know it has alcohol.
ooooooo I wish I had one RIGHT NOW!
(Just for good measure, I believe they are $8.95)

The Rainforest Cafe also has a bar. I am looking forward to enjoying an "adult" beverage on our upcoming trip since we won't have a car this time!

Back in 2006 I threw out my lower back upon entering Animal Kingdom's Africa and I had to sit down due to the intense pain.

Luckily my wife and I were right next to the "Dawa Bar" and took a seat while the kids went on some rides.

One of the regular bartenders at the "Dawa Bar" at the time was named Byron. He was top notch bartender ! He made some great drinks, kept us entertained, and more importantly I was able to lessen my back pain. It is still one of my most favorite "relaxed afternoons" inside a Disney park to date.

After a few "Harambe Coolers" I was able to hobble back to the resort.

OK as most people have said some of the best places are:

Dawa Bar which is just over the bridge as you enter Africa on your left. This serves cocktails as well as beer and is a full bar so should have anything and everything (except Straws-non in AK so watch with the ice in cocktails).

Yak & Yeti Quality Beverages not been there but the menu seems the same as Dawa Bar from what I can remember. This is in the Asia area of the park.

Rainforest Cafe right at the front of the park has a great bar but you have to leave the park to get to it.
