Does the new dining plan cover alcoholic beverages or just soda and the like? Does it cover some things like beer but not expensive wines? This thing has me really confused if it is worth it for me and my DW as we usually only eat a big dinner at a good restaurant and snack during the morning and afternoon.

According to the disney website, it only covers 2 non-alcoholic beverages per day. No liquor, sorry :guilty:

Most places offer free refills on sodas so it would be more than just two. It includes a drink with each of the 2 meals then the snack can be used for a soda OR ice cream OR popcorn, right?

This is confusing.

Yes, the snack can include either "ice cream, cookie, popcorn or a non-alcoholic beverage."

As for the free refills... Let's put it this way: You get 2 CUPS a day (not counting the snack, if you choose to use it towards a non-alcoholic beverage). I don't believe a lot of places, especially in the parks, do free refills (after all, why else would they sell refillable mugs?). But I could be wrong.

But any way you think about it, it does not cover any alcohol.
