Give me your best ideas for dinner with children. We are going for the first time and I want to know all the "DO NOT MISS" places to go! :sunny:

Well the character meals are great. If you have girls then 1900 Park Fare (Alice, Mary Poppins and Pooh characters in the morning, Cinderella, Prince Charming in the evening), Cinderella's Royal Table and the Princess Meal in Norway at Epcot (Askershus, I probably spelled that wrong) are all great as they have princesses that little girls love. My son loves Chef Mickey's for Mickey, Goofy and Donald. I could go on and on, there are so many and it really depends on the age and gender of your children. I would check out: www.allearsnet.com for information on all the dining at WDW. It has menus and pricing. My kids love Sci Fi at MGM where you eat in a car and watch 1950's sci fi flicks on a big screen (like a drive in movie) and Prime Time, also at MGM where your waitress makes you eat your veggies and keep your elbows off the table (supposed to be like eating in Mom's 1950's-70's kitchen). Those are both uniquely themed restaurants that are as much about the atmosphere and theming as the food. And my kids also love O'Hana for dinner. All you can eat (not a buffet) meal where the kids get to play games (hoola lessons, coconut races) and have a ball. My kids are a boy age 12 and a girl age 10 so that gives you an idea that may be totally not helpful if you have kids much younger or older! In any case, check out that website, it will tell you quite a bit. Good luck!

We just returned from a great trip and we all had a fantastic time everywhere we ate! The kids (ages 2.5, 5 & 9) loved the places we ate! We ate at The Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Cinderella's Royal Table and Le Cellier. Check out our reviews under Dining Reviews ("Adventures In Disney Dining...") I had everyone, including the kids, rate each restaurant. No matter where you eat, you will have a great time-afterall, it's Disney!!
