ADRs with DDP and DVC rental...

So quick question...we have a dvc rental and have the dining plan added to that. We are wanting to book CRT for our trip...but want to use our points. The dining plan doesn't normally show on MDE when you rent DVC...so will I have to pay OOP for Cinderella ?? Is there any way to get my points used instead of paying out of pocket?

What you have to do is call for the reservation and say you are putting it on the DDP that is what I did and I had no problems at all.

Should I still make it online at 6am first then call? I'm worried I won't get the reservation if I wait until 7...we are wanting dinner.

If you want to take no risks, book online and pre-pay. When you dine at the restaurant, ask them to charge it to DDP and they will refund you.

That is another way to do it . And I was worried as well but I didn't want to pre pay and have to be refunded so I waited till 7am and I got the reservation no problem at all. But if you don't want to chance it then that would be your best option. But honestly. it depends on how long you are staying and since you are staying on property you will be fine booking 180 +10 so even if you wait till 7am you should be fine.

Made reservations this morning...grabbed a 7pm CRT online and then called at 7am...they refunded and switched it no problem!! Phew!!! Thanks for your advice!!!

We went two years ago for an 8am breakfast everything was wonderful. They were really accommodating when my then 2.5 year old didnt like her French toast sticks...they brought her extra fruit, etc. No questions asked. We are excited to try dinner this time!!!

We never did CRT because it was so pricey but now that we have the DxDDP we decided to do it. Besides Cinderella is my favorite princess.. I was debating on whether to do breakfast still might not sure so we went with lunch. I am glad to hear you had a great experience.
