ADR's Opening Up

We arrive for our long awaited vacation 3 weeks from today. I made all of our dining ADR's at 90 days out to be sure and get what we wanted and I did not have any trouble. Today I called to see if there was any chance I could switch some things around and much to my suprise everything I wanted was open and available for the dates and times I wanted....YEA!!!

Now granted we are not trying to do Cindy's breakfast or anything, but I was able to get Boma's. Chef Mickeys breakfast (at 8:30 on a Sat), Le Cellier, Kona, Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and Concourse all for the exact times I wanted (and I asked for 6:30 dinners at most places)...

When I acted a little suprised that Chef Mickeys was available the CM giggled and said "yes things have really opened up now that free dining or as we prefer to call it, the fall reign of terror is over"

I am hoping service will improve also as the crowds drop off a little and the servers are not stressed to the max.

That's great ! Maybe I will try again. I tried to change Le Cellier last week and was told it was completed booked for 11/6,11/9 amd 11/11. we have 7:30 on 11/9.

I know it is closed for the dinner hours on 11/6 because of a special F&W event...that is why you could not get it that day....might want to try again for the other dates. (or at least make sure it is open those days for regular dining)

I called for ADRs last night for 12/4 through 12/9. The first one I tried was for Jiko, 12/4 -- was told no tables for 2 from 5:30-9:40. I did all my other days/ADRs then the CM started telling me about Jiko because I had said that it was one of those places I keep wanting to try but never have gotten over there yet. She looked again and suddenly there was a 7pm (the exact time I asked for) available.

Thats great news! I currently have a reserveration for Le Cellier on 12/2 at 8:50pm and was trying to change it to an earlier time and to try to get a table for all 7 of us since they currently have us down for 2 tables for dinner and she said that they are completely booked and have no tables available. I will have to keep trying and see if something opens up.

I have also been trying for LeCellier for dinner anytime during the week of 12/3 to 12/09 for either a party of 6 or 2, nothing, totally booked since the 90 day mark.

I am also going to keep trying, I was unable to get into Le Celliers at all for dinner, only lunch!

Try getting a table for 3 instead of a table for 2.

That may have been what she booked, but she didn't say it to me.

We had a party of 6 and they told us that it would be 2 tables for 3 each. When we got there we told them 6 and we had 1 table. So when you check in tell them your #, you may be surprised that they can accomodate you. It's worth the try.
