ADR's on the Horizon...

So it's only a few days until I can book my ADR's.

I have our list of places to eat thanks to our DDP.

Checklist is...

1. List of places to eat
2. Valid Credit Card
3. Working phone and internet connection

Phone lines open at 7am Florida Time = 12.00pm UK here correct?

When does the online booking start 7am as well?

Anything else I should prepare with, be online at 11.30 am UK time? When's best to start phoning?

You can start booking online from 11 am UK time and an hour later (as you've correctly noted) the phone lines open.

Do you have any ADR's that are potentially hard to get due to popularity? If so, try make these as soon as you log in and then go back and clean up the rest. Otherwise you look set to go.

Make sure you are logged into MDE, not just into the Disney website.

Only two I think we will struggle with are

BoG (which we are hoping for a specific day but will take what I can get) and Akershus "dining with the princesses" that's a breakfast though

I've done our ADRs this week and manage to get BoG ADRs for 2 days by being online and ready at 11am

I made sure that I logged in with about 5 mins to spare and then went to the dining reservation and selected BOG. In the little section box I chose my date, time and party size and then at EXACTLY 11am I hit search for a table.

Save a bit of time and link your credit card to your MDE account now - then you don't have to do it whilst reserving, it'll just use the saved card details

And as others have said it's 11.00 am - but I did mine at 3pm and still got everything so DON'T PANIC

Am I being an idiot? just doing a quick practice on the MDE site and when searching for a table it only shows availability up until Thu 9th October.

Now my first day on site is Friday 10th October so how does the MDE allow me to book me +10 days tomorrow if the days are shadowed out on the MDE calendar?

The shaded area on the calendar is the days you are reserved into your accommodation. When your first day opens up you will be able to click on that day and the next 10 days too ! Have faith....it does work

I prefer to call rather than on line,its silly I know but someone tell me everything is ok just makes me feel better.

I'm logged into MDE and I type in a restaurant and bring up the calender and it only shows until 9th October so tomorrow it will show the 10th is also now available, does it then show 11th - 20th as well or am I booking via the incorrect way?

I wondered that too, but when 180 days rolled round, it just automatically opened up all my holiday dates on that calendar, and all was good.

easy peasy!! booked with no fuss at all. bang on 11.00am thanks to the talking clock I got BoG at the time we wanted and on the day we wanted, then went from there!

Phew!!

So I have booked all my places for the first 10 days! for my remaining 3 days on site when does that window open up? I presume tomorrow???

Now I'm excited!!

I had the page loaded up and on the BoG page, as soon as 11 struck I clicked search and hey presto my tables appeared, you'll be fine

That's exactly what I did, thanks. I was a bit panicky going into the unknown, with it being my first time using MDE, but it's not as scary as I thought. I made a last minute decision to also include Tusker House, just five minutes before 11am, so I was extra flustered. I managed to get all I wanted at the times I wanted, so now I can't stop looking at the page on MDE where is shows all my reservations. Is it just me that does that?

I've just got Garden Grill and Le Cellier to book now and that's me done.
