Has anyone's ADR's not shown up in the system when you should up for your reservations? The UG says this can be a problem. What happens, do you still get to eat at that time or do they treat you like a walk up?:confused3

About 6 years ago (pre CRT lunch) we had reservations for lunch at the Palace. I had my ADR reservation #, but they couldn't find it for that day. They did some searching and found it on the next day. I am very specific when I call to not only say the date, but also the day and I told them that. They cancelled the one for the next day and got us in at the next available table. So..... make sure you have your confirmation #'s.

I print off a few calendars and write what days we are going to what parks and what restaurants we want to eat at in those parks that day. Then I call and write the confirmation # in the date block with the appropriate restaurant. After I am done on the phone I rewrite all my parks, restaurants and confirmation #'s on another calendar with the appropriate restaurant on the appropriate day and carry that with me. DH also has them in his PDA/phone.

Another thing to do is make sure you specify MONTH, DAY and DATE. I have seen some posts on here where they had ressies that were scheduled in the wrong month. Have the CM on the phone repeat all the information back to you and repeat the confirmation #'s back to them.

I've read the UG (I thought) cover-to-cover, and don't recall seeing this. Where did you find it?

In any case, it's always a good idea to call Disney dining a week or two before your trip and have them read back each of your ADRs so you can confirm them. Be sure you check the six primary bits of information for each one -- Restaurant, Date, Time, number in your party, name on the reservation, and confirmation number. If all else fails, they can pull up your ADR using the number.

i always call a few days before we arrive, to confirm our ADRs

and i'll bring along the ADR numbers/info to the restaurant when we do go, as well - only once was there a problem (had confirmed from home prior, but upon arriving at sci-fi, we're not there in system!) - showed the ressie #, but they still took us in anyway

I also make a call to CRO to have them read back all my reservations a few days before we leave. I also stop at the concierge after checking in and ask them to print out a copy for me. It's always nice to see it in writing out of the Disney computer.

When, oh when is Disney going to put ADRs online!?! I can't understand how something as complicated as a vacation package (that includes flights and park tickets) can be online, but dining reservations can't.

It has happened to me before because they spelled my name wrong, but once you give them the ADR number it works out
