ADR's made -- any comments?

We made the last minute decision to go to Disney for 11/25 - 12/3. We were there a year ago and bought season passes so we wanted to take advantage of our 'last week'.

So, booking ADR's left me with limited times available, but I think I've done pretty well. I really want to focus on the atmosphere, the characters, just get the most of the 'Magic'. We spent 2 weeks there last December and another 2 weeks in July so the kids and teens have had their time on all the rides! This time is for me! I really want to take time to visit a few resorts, to just soak it all up!

So here is the plan:

11/25 [arrive around lunch time] Liberty Tree Tavern 8:50 pm [my son's 13th birthday]
11/26 Artist's Point 8:50 pm
11/27 Ohana Dinner 8:50 pm
11/28 Sci Fi at MGM 11:40 am
11/29 Garden Grill 11:10 am
11/30 Boma's 10 am; Biergarten 8 pm (will we be able to see the fireworks with this time for dinner?) This is my 40th birthday!
12/1 Whispering Canyon 10 am; MVMCP
12/2 Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package 3:50 pm
12/3 7:30 am Ohana breakfast

I got in 3 character meals, the Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Fort Wilderness. Anything I'm missing? Anything else I ought to do?

I really want reservations at 1900 Park Fare, but haven't been able to score them. I will keep trying each day we are there though! Last year we got seats for 9 at Cinderella's Castle for breakfast from a cancellation!

I'd give up the Garden Grill and try either The Grand FLoridian or Yacht and Beach Club restaurant.

Is the Garden Grill really that bad? My kids love the character meals. I would like to eat at GF though. And what is it like at the Yacht & Beach Club?

Most people on this board who have eaten at Garden Grill absolutely loved it! (especially now that they are back to the old menu). I would never cancel a reservation to a restaurant or not go on an attraction based on someone's subjective negative opinion on an internet message board. If your gut instinct when reading up on the restaurant was to get an ADR, then keep it. I know that the menu sounded great, the characters sound fun and I love the "rotating restaurant" schtick! That's why I chose to get an ADR for our upcoming trip for the Garden Grill. I'd stick with it if I were you.

In Disneymomx7's defense, I thought the lunch food at the Garden Grill was so bad, I ordered off the kids' menu. In fact, I hardly ever see people on here talk about the GG- compared to the other ones. If you're going just for the rotating you'll be disappointed. It rotated so slow I hardly noticed we were moving at all and never saw 3/4 of the place. The characters are good there though. They came around a lot and were very playful (some of our best pictures). My advice since I'm guessing you're at Epcot that day is to try and get any time at Le Cellier instead. If you can't get that, try the GG. You never know, it may be your new favorite... Everybody's different.

I'd scrap Artist Point for CA Grill - time it right and from the 15th floor balcony you can watch MK's fireworks (make sure they're having them that night) also, you can watch the water pageant at 9p (I think it's still around 9p, someone else might be able to confirm that).

I'd take AP over CA Grill anyday. Besides, barring any cancellations, there are no fireworks-friendly ADRs left in that time period.
