Hey all! Just wanted to give a small report. I made ADR's for our arrival in 11 days  quite a few months ago now - had no problems, got all the times and places we wanted. DF checked out the itinerary I finally typed up and we decided on our last night to spend the morning in MGM and head back to MK (we had an ADR at MM in MGM). Instead he wants to eat at LTT. So I just called a few minutes ago and said the date I wanted (May 5th) and it was for 2 adults at LTT. Immediately he says: "I'll have to check for a cancellation." :confused3 Thought that was kind of weird that he automatically knew. So he says, yes there is a cancellation for two at 6:25pm and that it's the first cancellation he's seen in 6 months! :scared1: Wow. I know I didn't call that far out originally. Think the restaurants are really going to be that packed, or only certain ones? We've always gone in May and loved it, I just hope the restaurants are not a reflection of the parks. :) Any input? TIA! :)

We are headed to wdw in May too (only Dh and I)! I just called to change some ADRs and was able to add the breakfast buffet at Boma and change the time of our dinner at Jiko with no problem. (I realize these ressies are not as hard to come by as some character meals). SIL just called to make an ADR for the same time period and got into Citricos without a problem. No luck with Le Cellier, but that was expected.

I don't expect it to be crowded at the parks when we are there.

I also live in central NJ.

We love May and have never waited more than 20 minutes for anything, but when the CM told me that, I was like WHAT? We were able to get Le Cellier, but by the time I called, they only had 2 times slots open. We took the earlier one, which works out fine. DF would be heartbroken if we didn't eat there. I didn't try switching or changing any other ressies though.

I'll be there May 5th-13th and made my ADRs months ago, but I called last week trying to change Le Cellier for another night and couldn't do it. I was told Le Cellier was booked for the entire time I'm there, so I just kept the day I had.

I know last May we saw walkups being turned away at Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine, Le Cellier, and Coral Reef. There may have been some more places, but we saw people turned away at those.

I will be at the world from 5/31-6/8. I made my ADR 6 months out. Got everything I wanted, at the times I wanted:wizard: I really think things went so smoothly b/c I DID know exactly what I was asking for when I got up at 6:45 a.m. on a SATURDAY :scared1: to make those arrangements.

I just added two more ADR's two days ago for our trip 5/6-5/15 and had no problems. I added 50's Prime Time and Capt'n Jack's and both had several slots open on a variety of days...I was pleasantly surprised. I think it can be tough getting an ADR's for certain restaurants no matter what time of year and it doesn't necessarily reflect how busy it will be the time you are going.

Just checking because I've never had that happen before. I guess since this trip is a little shorter than we normally go for, I'd like for things to go smoothly. 10 more days!
