ADRs for Trail's End?

We'll be staying in a Cabin mid-October (12-20) and while we will have various ADRs planned around the World and will also have some* stuff in the kitchen, we'll probably look to fill in a few meals at Trail's End during the week.

Are ADRs necessary? Recomended? A really good idea or a waste of time? Depends on the meal?

Any input and recent experiences would be welcome.

*note the emphasis on SOME - too much cooking and suddenly Momma's not on vacation any more!

ADR's are usually not a necessity unless it's peak season. If you know a little ahead you could call.
If it's busy you could get something from the to go menu and eat at the picnic tables on the porch. :thumbsup2

You don't mention if you are considering TE for lunch or dinner.

Lunch is ordering off a set menu. It's usually not that busy because most people are at the parks. If you are considering lunch then no ADR IMO.

Dinner is a buffet of fried chicken and various comfort foods. Of the buffets on property it is probably the best value (bang for the buck). As 2goofycampers says, at peak season times it can be busy. October is a nice time weather wise and if you are considering TE on an October weekend or close to Halloween (when the Fort is full) I would consider doing an ADR. But if it's a week night then just wing it with a little sponteneity (sp?).

Breakfast is also a buffet (again a good value) and no ADR required.

Pretend to be a restaurant critic and tell us what you think after you try Trail's End. :cool2:
