ADR's for T-rex

Anyone know what is up with the t-rex at Downtown Disney. We are going to WDW from 11-27 through 12-05-09. Got all my character meals no problem this past Saturday at 6:00 am except, t-rex on the 30th. It is my son's 3rd b-day that day and that is where he wanted to go. Only available time the entire week was on the 2nd for dinner. I will keep checking back for cancellations, thought this would be a no brainer! Also have touring plans membership and it says this is not a busy time of year to go, am I wrong? After the Thanksgiving weekend crowd levels are listed at 4-5, one day is a 6. Thanks!

try calling the restaurant directly, I had the same problem with ADR's, but when I called T-Rex, they gave me my choice of ressie times. They only release a very small amount of reservations to disney.

I'm so happy you got your ADR. I've been trying for weeks to get an ADR at Planet Hollywood. I hadn't realized it was on the DDP, and that there is a voucher in my packet until I tried to book and it was full! I will keep trying. I tried calling Planet Hollywood directly and they told me they do not accept reservations and that I HAD to go through WDW-DINE or the WDW website to book.

We called T-rex directly when all Disney had was 4pm. Just a warning though, we arrive at 5:45 to eat at 6pm and the place was quite empty on a Monday, but 7pm it was louder and full by the time we left at 7:30 it was a mad house and the line to check in was back out on the sidewalk. Earlier is better with this place!

Anybody have the T-Rex phone # handy?

Also, do you know if they are now accepting DVC or AP discounts? I know they didn't when they first opened.

I think my brother used the DVC discount there in June. The number for T-Rex is 407-828-8739.

Yes I originally called through Disney for a booking and came up with nothing. Called the restaurant directly and had my pick of times. My three year old adn six year old boys are soo excited. We are doing this on day of arrival right from the airport for lunch.

I called T-Rex directly back in May to see about a reservation, and they only had 2 times available for my party size -- very early and very late. The person I talked to at T-Rex said they only make reservations for 20% of the tables and leave the other 80% for walk-ins.

We were able to go a different day right at opening and be seated right away.
