Is it OK for me to make ADR's somewhere for only apps/drinks/desserts? Is this frowned upon? I'd like to make ADR's for R&C for before illuminations. Our table of 4 would order a bunch of apps, several adult drinks, and a few desserts.

Is this considered a no-no? Don't want to take up a table from someone else who wants a full meal if it means the wait service will be upset.:confused3

I do not see why you could not do this...I would simply call and make and ADR and ask them while you are on the phone if it would be a problem...what you are asking is not unusual in a normal sit down restaurant...I would think it would be no different at Disney (or at least I would hope not).

:goodvibes Feel free. If you make it than it is your ADR to do with what you want. Enjoy it!

This is a great question. I've been wondering if it's OK to do this myself. I was thinking specifically about Coral Reef. When we ate there for the first time in December, I fell in love with the chocolate wave. It quickly became my favorite dessert on property. The rest of my meal, however, was just so-so. And my DH didn't like his meal at all.

I'd hate to think I'll never get to eat my fave dessert again, but I am also loathe to waste money on an entree I won't really enjoy. So, the perfect solution would be to make an ADR for just dessert and wine. But I don't know if the restaurant would frown upon that. What does everyone here think?
