I just got done booking all my ADR's! :yay:It was very easy and I got all the times I wanted either exactly or within 10 minutes of the time I requested. I didn't realize T-Rex doesn't take the Dining Plan, so I had an extra Table Service credit to use and had to figure out last minute which reservation to book for that, but no worries, everything went great!:thumbsup2

Congrats!!!! :thumbsup2

I noticed your trip report for the same dates I'm going next year, so I read your report and saw your kids were almost same ages as mine will be on trip. My daughter will be almost 2 when we go and my step-son will be 9. You have lots of great pics and it seems you were able to get alot in. It makes me have hope we can experience alot with the kids, even going that time of year. My husband and I stayed at Wilderness Lodge for our Honeymoon and loved it however we are staying Pop Century this time to make it more affordable. Great report!:)

We're going almost the exact same dates! June 25/July5 for us!

Wow! I wish we could go that many days! Pushing it as it is with 8 days! Enjoy your trip!
We don't normally stay that long, it's a BIG trip for us. It's our youngest DS's HS graduation trip and my parents are going with us to celebrate that and their anniversary and are staying 6 days of the time we are there. We wanted a couple days to ourselves, and DS wanted to be there for the 4th (crazy boy :scared1:), so that's the only reason for the length of stay.

We normally stay 5 days and are praying for some kind of special but know it's not likely with the dates we have. Besides, it's our last family vacation so we're going out with a bang! After this it will just be DH and I until we ever get some grandkids to drag along with us :thumbsup2

We will be there the same time. Our trip is June 29th to July 7th. Yipeeee:cool1:We are also happy to report that we were also successful with getting our ADRs for exactly what we wished. :love:Disney:love:
Where are your ADRs for??

We have mostly dinners and a couple lunches. BOMA, Liberty Tree Tavern, Tusker House, Sci-Fi, 50's Primetime, Biergarten and Chefs de France, Whispering Canyon...and T-Rex which is not on the plan but I wanted to try it, and I thought my step-son would like it. My hubby and I tried Sci-Fi and 50's PT on our honeymoon as well as Whispering Canyon for breakfast because we stayed at WL, but all the others are new to us. Last trip we tried San Angel Inn, and Rose and Crown as well. I love trying new foods! What restaurants are you trying? And just out of curiosity...where have you decided to brave the 4th of July? Us..we're doing Epcot.

I make my reservations tomorrow!!! I'm wicked psyched because it makes my trip a reality!
To all that are doing the 4th at WDW,you will LOVE IT!!!!!!!! That's the time we go too!!!!!!
I'll be lookin' for you guys! :goofy:

^^^ Wow! Thanks for the compliment. Where in Illinois do you live? We lived in Chicago (North Side) for 14 yrs. before moving to the East Coast.

I know you'll be able to get lots done if you plan your trip ahead of time. Have you checked into touringplans? They have a crowd calendar which will give you an idea of how you might want to approach you touring. Click here: http://www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_index.php?PageID=14 I would also recommend Passporters (if you wish to purchase a guide book), or getting you touring plans from Touring Guide Mike (many people here on the boards swear by him.

The biggest tip I can give you traveling with young kids (and one who might still need to nap) is to do the AM Extra Magic Hours, take a mid-day break at the Pop Century (btw, nice value resort choice with dedicated buses :thumbsup2). Then go back to the parks in the early evenings after you mid-day break. If you want to see the 4th of July Magic Kingdom fireworks, try doing them on the 3rd instead of the 4th. They have the same 360 degrees fireworks both nights. Just be forewarned that it will be crowded in MK both nights. Choosing Epcot on the 4th is most likely the best option for your family.

Btw, we will be going back June 2010, but will be leaving a few days before your arrival to go on a short cruise. Afterwards, we have plans to visit my folks in Miami and then at the tail end of our trip we will be dining at T-Rex before going to the airport for our flight back home.

Btw, you have some really nice restaurants picked out for your trip. :thumbsup2

We live a couple hours from Chicago. We are in fact spending the 4th at Epcot, and except for that day, we are planning midday breaks. I am garnering as much info as I can from these boards before we go. I am looking into a Disney Cruise at some point in the future, but trying to concentrate on this trip right now. (It's hard not to think about all upcoming trips :-D) I plan on trying different places to eat each time we go, as well as different resorts! :thumbsup2 Trying to get my sisters as excited about Disney as I am!

I do have TourGuideMike and RideMax!

Looks like you have some good places to eat, and that's great you were able to get the times you wanted!! I'm suprised at the availability when I called a few weeks ago for the beginning of March. We have a party size of 8 (my family plus my inlaws) and we got everything we wanted. Even CRT for BREAKFAST was available! (I didn't book it though, we dislike the service there!)

Have a great trip!
